Lately, fascists ideologies seem to be generally accepted in this scene. Prove of that is the fact that some kids are wearing T-shirts with swastikas and other nazi-signs on it. Sad to say, but this mostly happens on Black-Metal events. To make us clear, we have NOTHING against Black Metal, but we do hate fascism and ideologies which are based upon racial, ethnical superiority . That’s why we have included this article. It could give some of you information about the situation in Belgium.

In Belgium, where we come from, we have three different languages : Flemish (which is nearly the same as the Dutch language (Holland)), German and French. We live in the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium. In October 1994, we had elections to choose new city and town-councils. These elections are hold every 6 years. In our area, we have fascist-minded political movement, and like every fascist-minded movement , they’re against a multi-racial and a multi-cultural society.

During the elections of October’94, this fascist movement has gained lots of votes which means that some of their members have been chosen for a seat in the city and town-councils in the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium. They have now the right to co-decide which policy has to be run in the town/city.

Well, let’s get to the point. In Belgium, we have got lots of youth centers where activities like info-meeting, parties, workshops, gigs…etc., can be hold. These youth centers are VERY important to give bands (of all kind of music) a chance to let people know their ideas and music. The gigs and other activities organized in or by these centers are mostly cheap or even for free. The main idea behind these centers is to give EVERYONE a chance to have fun, to learn something and to do something active yourself ! With everyone, we mean all kids, male, female, white, black, red, yellow or whatever, with all different tastes of music, cultures, art. fun…Everyone is allowed at the centers. They are based upon MULTI-RACIAL and MULTI-CULTURAL principles. Multi-cultural means ALL kind of music going from techno, rave to Black-Metal or from ska to mince-core. Music is culture too, even if the music is reaction against standardized culture (like mince-core is a re-action). These youth centers get money to work with from the town-city councils in which they’re located. The council of the town is in charge to give the yearly financial help to the centers. Without this money, the centers can not function completely. You see where this heading towards ? ! ?

This Flemish fascist-minded movement is against a multi-racial and a multi-cultural society. When these bastards have their say in the city-council, they will surely use their vote to sabotage these centers, which in their eyes, of course, are a treat to their Arian society. There’s no place for different cultures in their fascist "Reich ".This means that it’s possible that sooner or later, bands don’t get the chance anymore to play in these centers, or rehearse at the place. The same can be said about the French-speaking part of Belgium, where other fascist-minded movements are gaining lots of influence.

We think it’s time to act NOW, to do something about this problem right away, because before you know, we’ll be all the victims of fascists censorship, something like the "book burning "-thing in Nazi-Germany. But this time it will be a "record & tape burning "-thing. And let’s not think about a "humans burning "-thing. When it should happen, don’t say "WIR HABEN ES NICHT GEWUßT " (we didn’t know) because you have been warned many times before. OK, everyone has the right to have his/her own political belief, but fascism is NOT an opinion, FASCISM IS A CRIME ! ! It takes away the right to have an own opinion. So, don’t give us shit like saying that we preach left-winged censorship because we don’t !

What can we do about it ? We can start boycotting all fascists-minded bands, all fascists minded-papers and all fascists-minded political movements. This is an individual action, that means YOU can do it yourself, without any help of some anti-fascists-movements (in case you don’t want to join any fascist-movement). Boycotting fascism is NOT censorship, it’s one of the ways to fight censorship ! ! So get of your asses and do something about it. The ones among you who are reading this, and don’t care about this, you’ll be victims too because the time’ll come that your fave political-bands don’t have any place left to play ! Like we said before, FASCISM INFECTS US ALL. To all the people who have been involved with anti-fascist-movements and activities, keep up the good work. To all of you who didn’t care till now, start being active and kick the nazis’butts !
