What Radio Radio does

Radio Radio is staffed entirely by volunteers. The station is committed to offering alternatives to regular FM programming. Almost everything from Punjabi to Death Metal is represented. Each show's producer is responsible for obtaining and using their own recordings. All shows pay hourly dues to generate funds for the station to continue operating. History of Radio Radio

The station went on the air in August, 1972 and has survived all this time as a nonprofit organization. In January, 1998, the station moved from its original home in the Neilson Furniture Co. building to a new location.
