I wish I could have met Koko, What a beautiful Kitty! I am so sorry I didn't. But, I know one thing, Koko didn't have to wait for Heaven's Gates to open, God was waiting with open arms for her. I read what you posted in Claw and was so moved I came to your page. My step-brofur, Subbus, died suddenly on April 27th.Monday it will be 4 weeks. He wasn't feeling well that weekend so we took him to the emergency on saturday, they couldn't find anythin so we decided to take him home and take him to our vets first thing in the morning on monday. Monday came we took him in and since Subbus always were so "spunky",the vet wanted to give him some tranqualizers just to make him relax a little. We went home nd hoped they would find something that was treatable and that everything was ok. So you can imagine the shock when the vet called, very shaken u,p and told us that as he had gave just a drop of the tranqualizer to Subbus his heart just stopped and he die . They tried to revive him with heart massage and mouth to mouth, he came back briefly only to die again. I cannot explain the grief and total shoch to loose a kitty that way. The vet opened Subbus up and it turned up that he had had massive kidney failur , his lungs had filled up with water and his poor heart just finally gave up. All that and he never showed any of the classic signs of kidney failure. We went to see him at the hospital, took pictures, and came back the next day to take him to the pet sem tary, where we said our last goodbyes and we had him cremated. Now he's back home in his little urn, with his picture on it. Both me, my 2 step-sisfurs and step-brofur and our humans enjoy to take a look or two and remember our little friend. I wish to se d you all of our condolances on your loss of Koko, I certainly know how you feel, it is hard to let go of someone you love so much. purrs, dede

I surfed in to view Koko's tribute. What a nice caring tribute to another "mew"sic loving kitty. Minuet lived in an accordion music studio before she moved in with us. We enjoy all types of music in our home. Koko is at the Rainbow Bridge sitting plea antly and carefully watching over her family. She is at peace but is worrying about all of you right now. She is with our Tigger who left us on 4/30/96 and is meeting new friends in her new home. She won't forget you.
