Kickin' Back With The Backstreet Boys

You might find it quite peaceful to gaze into the oh-so-cute faces of the Backstreet Boys (by the way, there's an opportunity to do just that on page 52!), but the group members themselves are finding it harder and harder to find time to relax. During a recent interview with BB, they told us what they do during their rare moments of "chill time."Brian Littrell
"Honestly, I lie on the couch and just watch TV. That's it. It's something that I never get to do- just sit and watch a basketball game or watch a football game. You know, it seems like when you can't watch the tube, you're just totally lost to the world. So I just sit down and thumb through channels and just be like, 'Oh, this is the best!'"
Kevin Richardson
"I go see a movie or rent a movie and stay home. Or I watch TV and play on my keyboard."
Nick Carter
"I play Nintendo or something like that, or any kind of video game. That, like, takes me to a different world. Or if I'm by a beach and just listen to the waves."
A.J. McLean
"I just sit down and kick back. Pop in a cassette of something soothing. Lie back. Turn off the lights. And relax for about an hour or so. Or I'll play some pool or some b-ball."
Howie Dorough
"Relax? I don't know that word! No, just joking. Actually to tell the truth, I canll my house and talk to my family-that's the biggest relaxation for me. It's weird. I'm reall [active] person, so for me to just sit down and watch TV or just hang out it's kind of like...not that it's something. When I'm sitting down, I feel like I'm totally wasting time. It's like my body is still kind of in that mode to keep going and there are a million things that I could be doing. So sometimes just picking up the phone and taking time to call my family or even just sleeping sometimes...I mean if I'm stressed out or whatever, sometimes I just crash out."
