Paramount Studios: "The Cream Will Rise"
THE CREAM WILL RISE, an unreleased documentary film based on Sophie B. Hawkins' influences of her musical career, directed by Gigi Gaston was shown at Paramount Studios Hollywood on February 19, 1997. Hawkins, Gaston, Sophie fans and many others were present at this exciting event.
After the screening, most people (including Sophie) went to the Studios' lobby to chat and mingle. Autographed CDs were given out, and Sophie was also signing 8X10 photos. Here's a scan of the autographed 8X10 photo. Some devoted fans flew in from everywhere such as Texas and even Holland to attend the event.
