My internet friend and on-line scrabble buddy, Theresa, who also plays guitar and lives in the same area as me, hooked me up with some of her friends who play guitar,  back in January, '99. Our first Jam session was at Poor 'Ol Doris's house and I was invited out to Hippie's house after that. I met the neighbors, Big Nabe, Speedy Nabe, and Cowboy. Come to think of it, I just met Theresa that night also.

Hippie, Debbie and Poor 'Ol Doris, had been jamming weekly for a quite some time, in Hippie's Kitchen. Anyway, they invited me back and we just kept on jamming and things were sounding pretty good, so Cowboy there decides to be our manager and only take 20% (of nothing) for his trouble (no trouble).    Time went on and I dragged my buddy David over who I had just started jamming with and we finally got his friend Randy, who plays dobro, to join us periodically. Some others have joined us too, let's see...Hippie's Daughter "Sissy" and my sister Debbie, then there was Gabe and his friend Dustin and another fella, I can't remember his name, but he played a killer harmonica and dobro and mandolin. The jam sessions are pretty open, as Hippie's philosophy is "The more the merrier!"  We recently played at Hippie's annual hog roast, and as expected, it was a blast!
