With or Without You - Pt 2

Daniel sat next to Darren on a plane. He fiddled with his walkman.
Darren looked over annoyed, "What are you doing!?"
Daniel looked down, "I'm trying to get this station to come in clear.."
Darren sighed, "Really Jonesy. We're on a moving plane which is yonks feet in the air. It's going to be close too impossible to get ANY station to come in clear. Put in a tape or something. Grab your discman. Get that blasted laptop out. Do anything. Just try to keep the noise to a minimum..I'm busy."
Daniel looked over. Darren sat there huddled up in his seat trying to write some new material. Daniel sighed, "Why bother Dazza? You know your too stressed right now to come up with anything useful.."
Darren shot Daniel a look, "Well I can try!" Darren sighed and looked over his notebook, "I've nothing better to do anyway."
Daniel pulled his laptop out of his bag above him and flipped it on. He logged onto his ICQ account than laughed, 'What a joke this is.' He still couldn't start to begin to understand why he had bothered making an account. Though he had a few friends he had made. No one was online so he closed it. He checked his personal e-mail, nothing new. He sighed, and sat back yawning.

"Please fasten your seat belt as we are about to land in a few," The stewardess was heard over the intercom.
Darren nudged Daniel, "Wake up you lazy ass," He said with a smile, "We've been taken hostage.."
Daniel bolted awake and looked around in confusion, "Wha!?"
Darren laughed, "One too many movies for you. Get your buckle on, we're going to land in a few."
Daniel pouted, "Do shut up and leave me alone, really Darren," He did his buckle up and looked back at his computer screen, the game of Solitaire he had been playing remained there untouched. He shut his computer off and put it back in the bag.

As they approached the airport terminal, the security around them was tight. So tight that Daniel was thankful that he wasn't claustrophobic.
When they entered the terminal Daniel braced himself for the worst. Darren stood there and looked around, "How odd.."
Daniel sat on one of the benches as their luggage was collected, "What's odd?"
Darren sat down looking almost disappointed, "There's no fans to greet us.."
"And this is a bad thing?"
Darren looked as if he was trying not to pout. "Well I'm just saying.."

Willow sat with Dawn in a TacoBell for lunch.
Dawn took a sip of her Coke and looked up at Willow, "So when are you leaving?"
Willow continued to swish her Mountain Dew around in her cup, "Probably sometime after lunch. I figure I might as well spend the night there instead of leaving in the dead of the night for my flight. And if it all falls threw. I'll just hang around the outside of the studio until they come out," She laughed, "I'm going to meet them this time for sure. I have to.."
"Well much luck to you babe."
Willow smiled, "I'll need it!" And she took a bite of her Mexi Melt.

Daniel stepped into the street and looked around. He caught site of Anna Maria and jogged over to her. "Hey Anna, where's Lee, Ben and the others?"
"I do believe there was some sort of mix up with the luggage, they're just inside getting it all smoothed over," Anna Maria replied continuing to walk toward a limo. She stopped and looked at it before turning back to Daniel, "Is this ours?"
Daniel smiled, "Do you see any other blue ones around?"
Daniel and Anna Marie sat in the limo and talked before they were joined by the rest of everyone else.

Darren got off his cell and smiled, "Ooh, do you know who's going to be on the show the same day we are?"
Daniel shrugged barely listening to him, he fiddled with his guitar.
"Janeane Garofalo! I get to meet her!"
Daniel would begin to tease Darren about how giddy he was getting but he understood it all too well. He remembered how wigged he became when he found out Meg Ryan was to be on Rosie the same day they were. He couldn't even sleep the night before that was how excited he became. Instead he just flashed a smile and said neat.
"Neat!? That's the least you can say? Dare I bring up Rosie?"
Daniel just laughed, "I know, I know.."

Willow got off her flight a few hours later. She looked around for a few seconds before heading to get her luggage picked up.
She called herself a taxi and got to a hotel. She decided to check into one of the ritziest hotels around hoping to run into the guys.
After she had checked in and got herself a room she headed over toward the elevators.
She sped up as she saw one elevator door closing. She got there just as the door was closing and huffed, "Americans..", She mumbled under her breath.

     "Damn.."
Daniel looked over at Ben, "What?"
"The door, I didn't press the open button in time."
Daniel looked at him oddly, "And your point?"
Ben almost blushed, "Well there was this cute chick..She missed this elevator.."
     Daniel laughed, "Ah, I see. I'd say I understand..but I don't really."
Ben just shook his head, "Well not ALL of us are happily with someone right now.."
Daniel smirked, "We aren't jealous, are we?"
     "Not a chance!"

Willow looked around her room. "Damn, for a one bedroom suite, this is spacious."
She changed into a long skirt and a short sleeve top. And left to look around town.
She checked out the studio that Regis and KathyLee was filmed in and then continued to go about the town site seeing.
After walking about the town for an hour, 'I should have talked to some of the people from ICQ, I'm sure someone on my list is from here. Maybe if I had of done that I wouldn't be so bored right now..'
She walked into a cafe and smiled and looked around as she grabbed a seat in the corner. The cafe was seriously new age. She marvelled at the paintings on the wall, and took in the music that was playing. The cafe itself was moderately busy. Each person in there at the time just had an interesting essence about them.
A waiter walked over, "Hello, you just look new. I'm Rayanne."
     Willow smiled, "Hi.."
"Sorry, I work here at like all hours. I know all the regulars and am quick to pick up on any new customers. If you don't mind asking, how did you find out about us? Did a friend recommend you?"
"I'm Willow. Actually, I've just stumbled upon you guys accidentally. To tell you the truth I've never even been to LA."
The girl laughed, "And lets hope we don't scare you away. So what can I get you?"
"A chocolate mocha would be great. By the way, I just love the whole set up of this place, the whole aura has me mesmerized."
"Really!? That's great. Your mocha will be up in a few minutes. Could I interest you in a bite to eat?"
"Actually, if you have muffins, a chocolate chip one would be great."
Rayanne smiled, "I'll be back in a few minutes."

When her mocha had came, Willow sat back and pulled out a book from her bag and continued reading from where she left off.
     "Winterson..she's great, isn't she?"
Willow looked up startled. A young man smiled down at her, "Sorry for the fright. Couldn't help but not to notice you."
Willow smiled, "Do I really stick out THAT bad?"
He motioned to the seat across from her and she nodded. He sat, "Yeah, you're quite the sight."
All signs of a smile left Willow's face.
He kind of laughed, "No! I don't mean it in a bad way. I mean, well, your beauty caught my eye.."
     She blushed, "Oh!"
He laughed, "My name is Seth, and yours is?"
"Willow here," She said shaking the offered hand.
     "You're not from around here.."
She shook her head, "No, I live over in Canada.."
"Oh, well what are you doing here?"
Willow wasn't about to tell him the sad truth to that, instead she said, "Well I've never been here..and I've heard so much. I haven't anything to be done back home. I have the time. So, here I am."
"Cool, so how long are you planning on sticking around?"
"A few days at the most."
"Well I hope you enjoy your stay."
Willow sat for the next hour talking to Seth. Before she had left, she agreed to meet him at a near by club to hear the band he was in live.

Ben and Lee walked around the town.
Ben looked up the street, "Want to grab the bus?" He asked as he noticed a bus stopping to pick up passengers.
Lee shrugged, "What the hell. Why not.."
The two had just got to the stop as the bus pulled away, "Americans!" Ben said under his breath. He looked at the bus as it passed and his mouth dropped.
Lee looked over at him, "What?"
     "It's that girl again.."
     "What girl?" Lee was lost.
"No, on the elevator earlier with Daniel this girl tried to catch our elevator but missed it. And it's the same girl.."
"Ok, but still..what's the big deal?"
Ben flushed a little, "Well she's..cute.."
Lee just laughed as he whistled for a cab.

Willow sat at the small club listening to Seth play. They were a gothic band, yet they weren't hard or anything. They had a mesmerizing sound to them.
Willow headed back to her hotel room at midnight.
