PLOT: A divorced woman (Shari Paige-Rich) invites her newly-separated friend (Lee Gaylord) to share an apartment with her. A two-act comedy, based on the author's earlier, male version.

HISTORY: During a week of rehearsing (or performing) for three other shows that I was already in, I attended a Saturday audition for ELT's last show of the current theatrical season. Two days later, director Marty King (who I'd worked with on "Last Dance of Dr. Disco" and "Run For Your Wife") informed me that I'd landed one of the only two male roles in the otherwise all-female play. This would be my third Marty-directed show co-starring with Otto Campanella, cast this time as my character's brother.
One year earlier (during which my "Magical Murder of Oz" co-stars Jeff Smith and Dale George appeared in a Corning Elks production of the male version), this female rewrite of Neil Simon's classic comedy beat out "Guys and Dolls", "The Crucible", "The Glass Menagerie", and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" in an audience poll to see what would be the fourth show of ELT's '07-'08 season.
