Thoughts

These are what some people think about Jimi.

THE GREATEST ROCK&ROLL GUITAR PLAYER AND GUITAR SHOWMAN THAT EVER LIVED!!! I think if Jimi were still alive he'd probably be playing more blues mixed with a little jazz. If you listen to his last album titled "The Cry Of Love" which wasn't released until after his death, you could tell he was heading in that direction. And of course he would still play some Rock&Roll.

I have always been a fan of Jimi, You want to know what i think Jimi would be doing now if he were here with us now, Well Iknow for a fact that he would be composing new songs that are both mad and make sence at the same time. I don't think it was a bad thing for Hendrix to dye, as I know that he had no fear of it. I have been told that his music was a higher demand after his death. I know he's looking down on all of his fans right now loving us all for sticking together by modern technology. Thank You for taking the time to read my comments. I will be checking your website frequently for your biography on the King of the Guitar himself (Hendrix) Yours Miss Delyth Owen,

Hi My name is Matt I am a huge hendrix fan. I'm sixteen years old and also play guitar. At my High School talent show I opned the show with the Hendrix Style Star Spangled Banner. The crowd went crazy over it, they loved it this just shows that good music lasts forever.

Hi! I'M just now actually figuring this great musician out. My mom grew up listening to him. I got a little interested. I'm Reading a biography on him. He had a hard life as a kid. That's as far as I've read. I LOVE his STAR SPANGELED BANNER. ( Please excuse my spellling!) I just have one little CD on him. It just says it's "Woodstock".I gotta go. * KAY* TURNER

Hey, It's people like you who make these kick a@# site. I think Jimi hendrix i cool....

Okay, I'm not an internet freak. I'm on a friend's computer for fun. I would just like to express my love for Jimi. Personally, I think he is still alive. Yeah, you heard me...ALIVE. He lives in Wyoming in a trailer park. With Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison. They try to tell us it was a drug OD or drinking or something. It's true I tell you. Jimi Hendrix lives. The world was not ready for his kind of expression. It was too much for them. Jimi say that, so he decided to leave for a while. He'll come back as soon as we can handle him. He was just like Hercules. Less than a God, but more than a man. I still think he's alive. This isn't some hopeful elvis fan hoping "The King" is still alive. This is Jimi. Elvis cannot compare. So, there's my piece. Thanx for listening. I'm not crazy, just eccentric. Have a hendrx-y day. Ruby Rafanan

Cool site;In l970 when Jimi died,it was the first time that l ever felt a sense of loss, and a feeling of pain and anger in my young life. Now 28 years later l've realized that his music will never vanish.I find that the Jimi Hendrix Experience recordings in the studio were in the late 60's absolutely awesome and still are,the band was so tight and Jimis Strat was so full of juicy tones,Jimi was a great musician in lead and rythm guitar.A guitar player has never heard the Blues until he heres Jimi.I'm a amateur player and here a lot of Rythm/Blues...I keep myself in line by listening to Ray Vaughn or Clapton etc.because getting Hendrix going kind of make me feel that all my jamming and work is useless. It does intimitate me. As a band The Experience was by far the best for Jimi,Electric Ladyland the best studio album,Woodstock his best live performance,.His best tone from the Strat/Marshall combo to me was in The Band of Gypsy's Machine Gun etc.Listening to Jimi Hendrix CD's is highly addictive and dangerous to your confidence as a musician ha!....

Here are my thoughts on Hendrix... Jimi Hendrix is to me the best guitar player ever, with no doubt. He was Pele is to soccer, what Micheal Jordan is to basketball, and with no doubt what Gretzky is to hockey. He's in a class of his own. Nobody can ever come close to him. He did many things that nobody will ever be able to reproduce, or even come close to reproducing. If he would have lived longer, God only knows what other things he could have came up with! And God knows how many people would've thought "How am I gonna make it in this business if this Hendrix guy is overshadowing all of us guitar players?!?" if he would have stayed alive. I truly admire Hendrix's genious and ability to play so easily. I love sitting down with my guitar and trying to figure out the way he plays certain songs. I also love to listen to his feedback in songs such as "Third Stone From the Sun" Are You Experienced or his studio prowesses like in "...And the Gods Made Love" and "Moon, Turn the Tides... gently gently away" from Electric LadyLand. But what I love the most about Jimi Hendrix is his blues. Sure, guys like B.B. King and Muddy Waters are amazing old blues players, but many, MANY people seem to forget that Jimi was all and all a BLUES player, and that he could play the blues just as good, if not better than anyone else. "Red House" is just the perfect example. It's one of the rare songs that almost make me cry, kinda like B.B. King's "Thrill is Gone." Jimi is my hero on guitar, without a doubt. I can never stop admiring every little note in every little song I hear from him. It's a shame he had to die so young. God rest his poor soul. LONG LIVE JIMI!!!!! Fred Cusinato

Jimi Is a legend, A god and I worship him. Fergo
