Subject: [siobhan] This is not negative, just news
Please excuse my rushed note this evening.
I just thought I post a wee bit about the New York concert of Eurythmics
that I went to last week. IT was Great. Madison Square Garden was sold out
and Annie said it was the biggest indoor room that they had ever played (that
full, I mean.)
Both Sam and Django were visible (from certain angles) to the audience
off stage right. We had backstage passes and that was great because there
are very few being given out for this concert, I hear. No Cameras allowed
because of the children. Dave's boys and Annie's girls were there playing.
Sam had been given a brand new guitar and he was intrigued with that. First
they were quite keyed up and then were playing UNO. Then a nanny lead them
off to some van to head back to the hotel. It was chaotic and the children
were not all the blame.
What you might be interested in is that Sam was sent back to attend a
school activity (or such) the next day and it seemed as though Siobhan was
taking care of him. So, things are getting better, it would seem. Dave
still retains full custody. But, if he is letting Siobhan have Sam while he
continues on American pr. that bodes well. :-) (Django stayed with Dave a
bit more.) Eurythmics were on some American chat show later that week and
Dave said how said how hard it was to let his little boy go.
Dave and Annie play Wembley tonight....
Cheers

Unable to sleep, I just now read an article about Dave Stewart in one of
our country's god-awful paper from the last couple of days. In it it was
said that Siobhan had custody of the boys and lives in Swiss Cottage. Well,
this is not accurate about the visitation rights , but.... But, obviously the
situation have eased up a bit.
But I thought you all might be interested since it at least said where
Siobhan is living. Had anyone known that?
Mainly I think the tabloids are best to line bird cages. They are
rubbish. So, take this as you will....
I need gt up and put a kettle on. This is much too much at 3:30 in the

Hey everyone,
I guess i have a duty to send copys of pop up video around the world -
maybe i should start an auction :)
Apparently, this particular show was on VH1 about a month ago, which i
thought was a bit of a coincidence, as we're all supposed to be voting
for shuv on vh1online.
Below are a few interesting things from usenet which i thought you might
be interested in... i'm still working on getting the ss fan newsgroup!
===
(from alt.music.spice-girls)
HEY!!
Just gotta say that in the new :"too much" video, Victoria looks like
SIOBHAN FAHEY, of Shakespear's sister!! Has anyone seen their video for
"YOu're History"?? Yeah, they look almost exactly alike...cos in that
video Siobhans wearing these tight black pants and top and her hair and
make up and all look exacly the same....and this facial expressing that
Victoria makes in the video is also very reminicsent of Siobhans!!!
ahhh..I miss SIObhan...but VIctoria is a cool replacement!! Omar
(what do people think of this?)
===
(from alt.showbiz.gossip)
Mrs Dave....The Banana-gal that formed her own band, Shakespears
Sister....Heard she practically imploded with jeallousy that SS' big hit
featured the wonderful Marcy Detroit on vox in lieu of her.....Showed up
for a perfunctory Bananarama cover of "Waterloo" for some British
tribute record a couple of years ago...and
then...poof...vanished...Anyone know what's up?
(ace - people still wanna know about shuv in the showbiz world!)
===
(from alt.life.universe.everything)
>>... what Sheryl Crow did to GnR was *nothing* compared to what
>>The Corrs have done to REM!!
>>
>I agree with you!
But I'll bet I'm more furiouser than you are about it! I like the new
Eurythmics single but re-hearing Missionary Man warned me not to rush
out and buy the album just yet :-/
>btw liked her eye makeup but not her lipstick.
Very Siobhan Fahey (post Shakespeare's Sister), I thought...
(people are still referring to shuv when mentioning black make-up, oh
this is just too good!)
===
There's loads more, it just goes to show that the world are still
thinking about ss and siobhan, i guess i should have another go at that
newsgroup woman now...
John.
p.s. i've steered clear of usenet recently 'cause of that awful woman

not only found all this stuff but noticed that melanie and neil are

How dare they pop up 'Shakespeare plays had women playing many different

we were told for the 4598 billionth time that Marcella co-wrote Lay Down

I don't know if you've all looked at the virtuetv website
(http://www.virtueinteractive.com/) but past shows are available in the
archive, and I don't see why this one shouldn't be.
I used to work with RealAudio quite a bit, and I've been checking how virtuetv
(the company who are broadcasting this) stream their media. Unfortunately, they
use a type of server from which you can not download the actual media files
(i.e. you can only stream them from the internet) so 'recording' seems to be
out of the question, you could try begging to Dr Martens for a vhs??

Dear Friends!!!!!
I think we just must vote for our one and only shakespears sister and
show everybody that this band existed, exists and will always be (even
if only in our hearts)....
All you have to do is to go to http://www.vh1online.co.uk
and enter the Millenium Honours List there.
As to me I voted for "Stay"... Well, I know that this is not the most
favourite song of the most Shakespears sister fans, but it is the most
famous and there is a great chance that even not Sha.Si. fans will vote
for this absolutely fantastic master piece. Oh, I would love to vote for
"Hello (Turn your radio on)" or "Run Silent", but frankly speaking in that
case I will sure to be in the minority and my voice will sure to stay unhearable.
Who needs that?
Well, I would offer you to vote for "Stay", but anyway it is you who
decide!!!!
Please vote for them. Do not push it aside!!!!!
Below you can see an e mail from VH1 where you can find the information
about The Millenium honours List too.
Love you and DO appreciate the possibility we can be together!!!!!
Long live the Queen!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
Someone on eBay was selling a supplement from the UK newspaper "The
Express", dated November 21, 1999, which included an interview with Dave
Stewart "who discusses, frankly, his relationship with Annie Lennox (they
didn't speak for four years), his first feature film which marks the film
debut of three members of All Saints, and his marriage to Siobhan Fahey.
It's a three page feature with photos".
No doubt some enterprising Eurythmics fan will have this, and we should

There have actually been two articles of late that Dave Stewart has given---
The first was In the supplement of the Evening Standard(19.11.99) and Dave is
interviewed by Alix Sharkey about his the new Eurythmics' album, progeny and
his latest projects (PEACE, a film he directed with All Saints, etc.)
Now the article I haven't read, but was posted about here this week was in
the Express Magazine and called "Who's that Boy?". (21.11.99) A friend of
mine read it. Mostly Dave talks of his current life and how happy is to be
getting along so well with Annie Lennox now. Siobhan is mentioned a bit, but
it is not negative. Hardly a slam.
So, it seems that both have just stated basic facts: he and Siobhan got
married, had two children and divorced less than ten years later. But, I
haven't actually read that "Who's That Boy?" one myself.
Okay, was I contrary here? ;)
Cheers.
