I was just wondering if Shuv named her second child after the legendary jazz
guitarist, Django Reinhardt? Thanks....

Hello all, !!!!!
When did Marcy and Siobhan last have contact?
Also will the new SS album be new material or is it the same as the 1996 release?
The official Siobhan website is www.Shakespears-sister.co.uk

I am having problems downloading some of marcys mp3's. I can download the latest ones put up but none of her Demoz and Abfab. Marcy is releasing her new album on 14th of Feb 2001.

Best Wishes

its the same songs listed on as the new album that where going to make up the
1996 album. Now they may be re-recorded or something...who knows
later

Yes it is on her website in the Fresh News section. It's been there a while now. I
thought everyone would have seen that info already. Let's keep our fingers crossed that
it actually goes through.

Subject: [siobhan] Guardian Interview 1996

Hi all,

Now that harmony once again reigns in these quaters things seem to
have gone quiet... too quiet. So, as a special christmas treat for
you all I've transcribed an interview that Siobhan did for the
Guardian in 1996. The article is lenghty and very indept - and in
some places quite moving. Its not linked from my website so you'll
need to use the link below:

Cheers,

Dean.

Subject: [siobhan] Site Updates

Hi everyone,

Hope you've all had the chance to read the Guardian article and
enjoyed it. Any comments anyone??

Anyway, this is just to plug some updates to my webpage:

1. There's now new pages devoted to Stay, Goodbye Cruel World and I
Don't Care which include video grabs. If anyone has any reviews of
these or any other SS songs they would like to contribute then please
email them to me (dean@shakespears-sister.com)

2. There is also a page which features video grabs from the One
World, One Voice (the CD of which is or was on ebay and has gone
quite high priced). The video is very rare so these grabs are quite
exclusive.

3. A small article from a US magazine 'Seventeen' - which a nice
little pic of Shuv.

Don't forget if anyone has anything to contribute, any comments or
suggestions they are always welcomed.

Cheers,

Dean

Are you able to edit this article? Either there are spelling errors or I'm
just not accustomeed to the vernacular, but something is amiss with this
text. [<~NICK~>]

I got it ok, a few errors but I was able to follow it. Thanks, Dean. :)

Very cute!! And speaking of, there's something I've been wondering for a
long time now....and I don't mean any disrespect to Siobhan in *any* way,
since we all know she looks good in darn near anything, but...
I've always wondered about the cover of the Sacred Heart album. When I
first bought it, I was wondering what went into the choosing of the shot.
Is it just me, or my weird eyes bugging out, or is Siobhan like all chin in
this photo? I thought at first they must have took it when she was pregnant
but then there are other pics from this era where she clearly isn't. Since
she likes to kind of send up female beauty and notions about it, did she do
it on purpose? Anybody else think anything about this or am I just being a
dumb rude American??

Obsessively yours;
Melanie
