SSML-44, 4 December 1996
Hi everyone,
Thanks to Lisa at the Shakespears Sister Fan Club
( Harmonally Yours, 5 Freda Corbett Close, Peckham, LONDON, SE15 6UN,
ENGLAND ); and Janine at the Marcella Detroit Fan Club P.O. BOX 5142,
LONDON, W4 2WH, ENGLAND)
for the following information:
There won't be any further SS releases until 1997. The next single may be called
"Excuse Me John". The club has been informed that Siobhan will NOT be re-
recording "Venus" with Keren and Sara, despite the rumours otherwise.
On the Marcy front: the second UK single will be "Boy" as previously mentioned at
Marcy's web site ( http://www.marcelladetroit.com/ ). It was due for release this
Monday, 2nd December. Marcy is currently in London and has a stack of
promotional work lined up to promote the single, which will run for at least the next 3
weeks. This includes:
* radio interviews and in-studio performances with her entire band, and also
acoustically
* appearances on the following TV show:-
Never Mind The Buzzcocks (pop quiz show)
T.F.I.Friday
The Big Breakfast
Hole In The Wall Gang (an Irish TV show).
* press interviews for "The Independent", "Daily Mail" etc.
The album "Feeler" is now scheduled for UK release in February.
Marcy recently performed in Tokyo for "MTV Unplugged", and this will be aired in
the Far East (Asia) sometime this month.
Marcy wrote 4 songs for the special final movie-length episode of "Absolutely
Fabulous" which aired in the UK recently. Marcy also appeared in the show as an
angel.

Thanks to Denny for pointing out that on the Canadian 12" pressing of You're
History
( FFRR 886613-1, 1989) the disc claims that David Bianco remixed the Voodoo Mix,
while the sleeve says it was mixed by Manu Guiot (as on UK sleeve?).
Some more additions to the discography recently (thanks Peter and Diana):
RUN SILENT CD5 box set UK FFRR FBCD-119, 1989
(This is in a special "crayon box". The CD same tracks as standard CD single).
Also, there was a _doubled sided_ promo CD released in the US for Goodbye Cruel
World. It's 2 CDs stuck together. Each is a 1-tracker only. One disc is Shakespears
Sister: Goodbye Cruel World (album version); the other side is by someone/group
called E, and the track is Hello Cruel World. US London Records CDP-533, 1992.
And a promo 12" for I Don't Care
I DON'T CARE 12" promo France London Records 2269, 1992
a. I Don't Care (7" remix) 4:25 b. Remember My Name 3:40.
If anyone would like a copy of the full discography (by email), or would like to put it
on a web site somewhere, please let me know.
Does anyone know anything about the following?
?I DON'T CARE CD5 promo France London Records 1566, 1992?
And does anyone know if "I Can Drive" was released outside of the UK (i.e. in
Europe)?
Mike.
