Hi everyone,

I'm interested in tracking down a dance cover version of Marcella's "I Believe", as heard by Nico Barrett <103521.3636@CompuServe.COM> Does anyone know who the artist was who did this? And for that matter, does anyone know of any other Shakespears Sister cover versions?

And thanks to Max or pointing out that the version of "Boy" on the CD-single for
"Boy" has been edited down to 3:14 (from 3:31 on the I Hate You Now single and the album). The edited parts are: the guitar solo straight after the first chorus was cut shorter, in the same way as in "I'm No Angel", (though they weren't guitars but Marcy's vocals in that song). Then the solo guitar part in the middle of the song has also been cut shorter.
This occurs on the UK CD for "Boy", but not the Australian CD, which retains the standard album version, although the shorter time is printed on the Australian sleeve.

Also, if you haven't seen Neil Goward's web site recently, there are now STACKS of video grabs from performances and interviews, as well "new" articles and photos. Well worth checking out. http://www.netmatters.co.uk/users/neilg/

 Mike.

Hi there,
For anyone interested I spoke yesterday to the woman who signed Marcy to their Mega Records label for Scandinavia. She said that Flower wont be released here, but Somebody's Mother was the third single here instead. (Without a video though. I hate you now and Boy were the 2 others) The video for Boy was never shown here to my knowledge, though the rights were issued here for its release. Although I haven't come across any other Somebody's Mother singles, except though I've already traded, she said that the single can be purchased by contacting: Mega Records
Skepparg. 8
114 52, Stockholm, Sweden
I hope this helps anyone collecting Marcy singles. Apparently Scandinavia was the only territory were Somebody's Mother was released. So it might be worth the effort to get the single. It includes 'Miss Anne Throp'. The funds unfortunately have run out for the release of Flower here though.

Grant
