Hi everyone,
I came across a website with a review of the SS single "I Can Drive", as well as a personal review of the T
In The Park concert.
http://web.ukonline.co.uk/Members/keith.dumble/reviews.html
**********************************************************
"I Can Drive" by Shakespear's Sister
It must be glam week...This lot don't have too much credibility, but I like 'em. This is familiar territory for
SS - minus Marcella Detroit now, unfortunately. This is less Goth-tinged than previous outings by the band,
having a much trippier, glam feel that appeals to me, Siobhan Fahey's voice being particularly suited to this
style of music. The lyrics are a bit cliched perhaps, but then this isn't pretending to be deep and thought-
provoking. "Suddenly", on the b-side is another gleeful glam stomp which does the band credit.
Rating: 8/10

T In The Park
Sunday 14th July
The second day of the festival and the weather had improved; the sun was out and it was already pretty
warm. Arriving in Hamilton once again, I found it overrun with groups of festival-goers in search of
breakfast - the local McDonald's must have had its best Sunday morning takings ever.
Being a little early, I had to join a large queue to get into the site, but this was good-natured and, relatively
orderly. Once inside, I made for the Main Stage and sat down on the grass (I had only just realised that I
spent the whole of yesterday on my feet - my back felt as though a couple of vertebrae had been surgically
removed during the night).
Even at this early stage of the day, the festival site began to fill up, and the grassy field now had its fair
share of dusty bald spots, bringing back thoughts of last year's heatwave dust-storm hell. However, at the
moment, the crowd was sufficiently small and the dust remained settled, so I just sat back and waited for
the first band of the day to appear.....
.....(several bands later...):
Shakespear's Sister
I'm always in two minds about Shakespear's Sister, depending on what mood I'm in. If I'm feeling
charitable, I quite enjoy their camp theatrical goth/rock. If I'm not, I dislike them for being unoriginal,
contrived and having association with Dave Stewart. Today was a day edging more towards the former, and
I watched them from afar for about 20 minutes, witnessing a tiny long-haired figure on the main stage
(presumably Siobhan Fahey, but could have easily been Alanis Morissette or Dave Grohl from the distance
I watched them), belting out decent enough versions of "I Can Drive" and "Hello".
The crowd towards the front of the stage appeared to be enjoying themselves, but the biggest cheer that
Shakespear's Sister received was when they launched into a version of Bananarama's "Venus". Which must
tell us something...
Mildly diverting.

Subject: The singles!
I finally got a hold of the SS and MD singles. My opinions:
"I Can Drive" is good, but hardly a smart choice for a single. "Oh No, It's Michael" is not the best, but I'll
give a few more listens before I decide. "Suddenly" is really good and could have been a better single. It's
a bit too repetitive though, which means it may get tiring really quick.
"I Hate You Now" is great! It's also not very radio friendly though. I think the B-side "Boy" is even better -
it could definitely take off on radio if given the proper push!
Overall I was more pleased with the Marcy recordings than the new SS. I only hope the rest of the SS
album is better. Melodically SS was best with Hormonally Yours.
I want to say that I don't think "I Hate You Now" is about Siobhan. If Marcy wanted to say something
against Siobhan, she would have done so with her first solo record, no?
That's my useless opinion anyway.

Hi everyone,
Siobhan and Dave Stewart have apparently split, if you want to believe a tabloid report published here on
the weekend (which would have been lifted from a UK paper, but no source was given):
****************
POP SUCCESS LED TO SICK OBSESSION
Life was so good to Dave Stewart, he invented imaginary illnesses to bring himself down to earth.
The rock star had a phenomenal career as one half of the Eurythmics, a $60 million fortune and a string of
homes around the world.
But he still couldn't stop worrying -a psychological condition doctors called Paradise Syndrome.
Now he has a real problem. His marriage to singer Siobhan Fahey is over.
Stewart, 44 has left his wife and two young children at the family home in north-west London to live alone
in a flat.
Friends say Siobhan's patience with her husband's hypochondria had worn thin during their nine years of
marriage.
Even Stewart recently admitted "Siobhan has become so used to seeing me popping to hospital that she
ignores me. If I collapse now, she just steps over me to make a cup of tea."
A music industry insider said: "This should make Dave concentrate on real problems rather than those he
has been imagining."
Siobhan, 39-year old former singer with Bananarama and Shakespear's Sister, said yesterday: "We weren't
living together on a regular basis. We've always done our own thing. But with two strong individuals it
leads to conflict.
There is no bad feeling. We'll still go on family holidays together."
Siobhan has had her own troubles. In 1994 she was admitted to a private hospital amid reports she had
suffered a breakdown.
Stewart, 44, had hits through the 1980s alongside his former lover Annie Lennox as the Eurythmics.
******************
Here's a review of Marcy's single I Hate You Now in "Beat" magazine from last week:
"Booted out of Shakespear's Sister, her first solo album featured a duet with Elton John, and sucked the big
one. Now Marcella reacquaints herself with the odd pop of her former group. This is a big Motown-y
thing but comes with unstable Annie Lennox-esque vocals and a few strange twists and turns. Almost
brilliant."
******************
And now it's time to use that desperate ploy to generate some interest on the mailing list....YES, A
SURVEY! (Don't cringe!) Please answer as many questions as you feel like. I will post answers to the list,
but will keep it anonymous if you request it.

Well the SS single was never released domestically here in Canada. Rumours have it that the song was
played on local stations but I never heard it (must have been the UK Chart Attack which plays that sort of
thing). Anyways, apparently the album is due for release tomorrow but I won't be crossing my fingers just
yet. The Pet Shop Boys album has already been pushed back TWICE! But I will call the local shops just to
torment them.
That Marcy email was the EXACT same one I was sent! So much for individual replies.... Her CD single I
ordered still has not arrived, nor my Bananarama compilation. Alas, I will have to wait once again.......... :(

From: dgarbuio@direct.ca (denny garbuio)
That's what is says about Bananarama on the cover of the new Canadian gay lifestyle magazine "FAB"--
and Bananarama is featured in the first issue!! So everyone get OUT there and buy yourself a copy--pronto!
It's a simple Q&A interview with Sarah.
Here are some excerpts from:
"HOW DID TARZAN GET HIS YELL? CHEETAH BIT THE WRONG BANANARAMA"
ARE YOU STILL ON GOOD TERMS WITH SIOBHAN?
I didn't see her for 4 years and then she just recently called me and we went to her party. Everything is cool.
We plan to record a new single together, although there are no plans for a reunion. It will be a Bananarama
vs. Shakespears Sister type thing. Just the girls back together for another romp in the hay.
WERE YOU INVITED TO HER WEDDING?
Yes.
WHAT DID YOU WEAR?
Vivienne Westwood.
WHAT HAPPENED TO JACQUI?
It was difficult for her to become involved (songwriting, ideas, etc) after we had already 7 years of success,
so we decided to split.
WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE LONDON MUSIC SCENE THAT YOU'RE FOND OF?
Jungle and The Prodigy.
TO WHAT DO YOU ATTRIBUTE BANANARAMA'S LONG CAREER?
Good mates, a sense of humour and excellent songwriters.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY?
Everyone seems to be having breast implants, but Keren and I are already massively endowed.
DID YOU EVER TOUR CANADA?
Yes, we were there once [she speaks as if Canada is only one city] at Christmas and we loved Niagara
Falls.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BANANARAMA SONG?
"Give It To Me" [sic - pretty suggestive I might add], "Ultra Violet" [whatever song that may be], "Venus",
and "Robert DeNiro's Waiting".
The only picture featured is the one stolen from the Mission Control page (same as the cover of TMTYH).
It is a one page article with only Sarah, but I suggest you check it out.
Their email address is fab@myna.com. I suggest all of you write to them to commend them for putting the
Nans in print again. Articles of the girls have been pretty scarce lately, and I think we should thank the
people at FAB magazine for having such impeccably good taste! They may also have details to other
questions/issues/comments which were not covered in the magazine. I am going to email them tomorrow to
see what it would cost to get the Nans to do a concert or gay pride event in Vancouver. Cross your
fingers Canadians!
So there it is kids!
Ta ta....

Holy palpitations shakespear people!
I'd just like to say that I nearly lost ten years of my life from hearing that fabulous news about Bananarama
and Siobhan possibly getting together even somewhat briefly! Oh joyous rapture! This is fabulous news
folks! LETS PAAAAAAAAAAAARRRTY!!! (and hope that Sez wasn't pulling the reporters leg...)
Oh sorry to all you anti Bananarama people; in a recent interview Sara Dallin of Bananarama said that after
4 years of not talking to Siobhan, she invited Sarah and Keren of Bananarama to one of her recent parties
and they talked about getting together to record a single as a sort've Bananarama versus shakespears sister
thing. So *THATS* why Siobhan began to play *VENUS* at the recent gay concert! HA! Testing the
waters.....
Bananasteins Vicious slander of the month:
Latest theory! Dave Stewart is to Bananarama what Yoko Ono was to the Beatles...He broke them up man!
And now that Dave is estranged from Siobhan she's suddenly cohorting with the lovely banana's....its a
conspiracy theory people! Its ALL DAVE'S fault! (snigger snigger!)

SSML-39, 8 October 1996.
Hi everyone,
Sorry for the long delay between "issues". It's not like there's any news to report though.... Wake up
London Records!
For those not on the Bananarama mailing list, Bananarama are reportedly writing new material, and may
do an updated Venus '96 with some new lyrics. It's unclear whether Siobhan would be involved in the latter
project or not.
Marcella has started a discography "story" at her web site, and reports that "Boy" will be the next UK
single, apparently dropping "Somebody's Mother" for the moment. "Boy" will be out in November.

For those without WWW access:

"Hello again fellow "feelers"!
TIME FOR ANOTHER UPDATE !!!
Hi, marcy, here. The latest news in the life of one Marcella Detroit is as follows.
There was a change of plan as far as releasing Somebody's Mother", in late August. We decided to wait
until we felt the timing was better.
I was on holiday back in America for about 3 weeks starting near the end of August. However, it wasn't all
frolicking in the sun yet it was still very enjoyable.
I wrote some music for Jennifer Saunders' new television movie which will be shown sometime this
November.
Four songs in all, with one written along with a very good friend of mine, Lance Aston. It was alot of fun
writing and recording it in my little studio back in L.A.
As of September 15, I returned to Europe, specifically Scandinavia to do some promotion for my single
and my forthcoming album,
I'm now in London after having done some filming for the Absolutely Fabulous production with Jennifer
and I got to appear in a few scenes. a real joy, for me!!!!
I'm off to Holland next and then back to L.A. for a while to chill, perhaps write some more and of course
play with my son as much as possible.
Then, I'm afraid it's back to London where I will be coming to do promotion for my next single here in the
U.K., called "boy".
"Boy" should be out Novemberish followed by the album, "feeler".
Be good to you & do it now.
Peace always. Marcy D. "

Well guys don't get your hopes up!
Remember, the "reunion" could be only speculation on the girls' part. They have been known to say such
publicity-
charged things in the past. Remember when the Nans said they would be touring with the Pet Shops?! Lies,
lies, lies...
But let's not loose hope. I think Sarah said it best with her Yoko Ono/Dave Stewart analogy. Maybe had
they not met, the original Nans would still be throwing the punches today.
Also, you must remember, this info came from a friend of mine, who has not (coincidentally) returned my
calls since I transcribed parts of the interview over the phone with him.
But wouldn't it be FAB! A Venus remake remade by the girls!!

SHAKESPEARS SISTER SURVEY, PART ONE.
It's nice to see that most categories of "best song" get a wide range
of replies; a good indication of the diverse styles of music SS have done.
1. Best single
It always changes, but now I'll say Run Silent (don't make me pick which mix)
"You're History" / "Goodbye Cruel World" (tie)
"Hello (Turn Your Radio On)"
I DON'T CARE. (CLOSELY FOLLOWED BY DIRTY MIND)
Goodbye Cruel World
You Made Me Come To This
hello (turn your radio on)
I Don't Care
2. Best single from Sacred Heart
I guess Run Silent again.
"You're History"
"Run Silent"

"Hormonally Yours"
SACRED HEART (OR THE NEWIE...)
Hormonally Yours
Hormonally Yours
sacred heart
Sacred Heart
5. Best video clip
Hmmm. I have the SH compilation but it's in PAL so I have never seen it.
That kind of limits my choices... I really like Goodbye... I love the b&w
"Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" reference. I guess it was also telling
about S & M 's dynamics, but then again, so does IDC and Stay.
"Goodbye Cruel World"* -- never saw any SH videos
"Stay"
ERM, THEY'RE ALL DODGY IN PLACES...I DON'T CARE IS THE BEST
I don't know the name, but it's the one with the ladies talking to each other
in the beginning with Siobhan standing up and Marcy on a couch or
something. It's in black and white. I saw it once in 1992 in Germany and
don't remember which song it was or. Do you know? Maybe "Goodbye Cruel
World"?? [Yep: that's GCW!]
Stay and/or Goodbye Cruel World
I don't care
I Don't Care
6. Best B-side
OOOOO a toughy! Can we even count Dirty Mind and Heroine? I'm going to
cheat and say You Made Me Come to This (hey, it's a Canadian B-side) let
me know if you want me to pick another.
"Suddenly"
"Mr Wrong"
PRETTY BOY
Catwoman Live
Mr. Wrong and/or Suddenly
mr. wrong
Pretty Boy
7. The track from SH that should have been a single
Again...You Made Me... I know it's only a "Bonus track" but since most
people have the CD it may as well be a regular album track. I think it's my
favorite song by them.
"You Made Me Come To This" / "Could You Be Loved" (tie)
"Red Rocket"
PRIMITIVE LOVE AND TWIST THE KNIFE AND YOU MADE ME COME TO THIS.
Heaven Is In Your Arms
You Made Me Come To This
heaven is in your arms
Could You Be Loved/You Made Me Come To This (a double A side?!)

None
"The Trouble With Andre"
DEFINITELY EMOTIONAL THING OR CATWOMAN
Emotional Thing
Moonchild

9. Do you generally buy Shakespears Sister
you KNOW the answer to this one! I actually have never bought a DCC though.

10. Are you a member of the fan club?
Nope!/no/Yes/YES/no/No, is there one?!/yes/yes
[The address is 5 Freda Corbett Close, London SE15 6UN, England]
11. Are you a fan of Marcella Detroit?
Yep!/yes/So-so/NO/Yes!/Yes./sometimes/yes
12. Do you buy Marcy's releases?
Yep!/yes, but don't think they're very good/Yes/YES/Yes!/
Yes/yes/yes
13. Are you a fan of Bananarama?
Yep! My answers have become so terse!/Very much/So-so/
HA HA! YES. WORSE./no/YES!!!!!!!!!!!/yes/yes
13a. The Siobhan-era only?
I'm interested in the answer to this one! I definitely prefer it...especially
pre-SAW. In fact, when she first left, I refused to buy anything new by them.
Of course when I changed my mind, it was hard to go back and find some stuff.
Hell, I used to refuse to buy CDs and now I'm struggling to get all the ones
I turned down years ago! I can't wait to see how this one comes out! Opinion
of Shuv on the BML seems so split.
no, both
More so.
NO.
That was my favorite era, but I still love 'em!
no--all eras but the jacquie one
No, Siobhan's era was the best, but the Narns have continued on rather well.
14. What questions would you like to ask Siobhan?
I would want to know how she feels about her old Bananarama work. Some of
what I read gives the impression that she hates it (Or at least dislikes it) but
other stuff makes me think that she still likes what she did. When I met her
(for all of 10 seconds so it was hardly meeting her) she was thrilled with my
tattoo of the DSS fish. In her part of Women, Sex & Rock, she seemed to think
that what they were doing back then was really cool and should have turned
into something bigger and better. Oooo I'm getting away from the question!
Do you wanna have lunch?
The recent gossip concerning her marriage, but maybe that's too personal.
ANY CHANCE OF A DUET WITH BANANARAMA FOR A PISS TAKE AND A CHANCE
TO RAISE MONEY FOR SOME OBSCURE CHARITY?
I'd like to know if she notices a difference in style without Marcy's input
(besides the obvious differences in it vocally). Also, does she think she writes better songs with or without
Marcy? Finally, how does Siobhan perform songs live that Marcy had a large part in (like Stay or Are We
In Love Yet)?
-What the fuck's up with the new album?!
-Are really as fucked up as you seem to be in interviews and onstage?
-What's Dave Stewart like in bed? Is he well-hung?
-Tell me what it was like to be in Bananarama?
-Various video, music questions....
what size of shoes does marcella wear? my sister and I have been wondering...
Will you release the album independently, or through Anxious etc. since
London Records are a bunch of bastards!
15. Any further comments?
Siobhan is a genius. I hope she gets focused and continues to make music.
The world of pop needs her.
When is the new album coming out??!!
FINIS.
I hope you get a lot of responses. How many people are on the list now?
[24 subscribers. We get a new subscriber every few weeks] You should realize that my choices for best or
worst singles don't mean I think those are good or bad songs - just good or bad choices for singles. I think
Catwoman is a fabulous song but it wouldn't make a good single. Same goes for Electric Moon.
Tell her that I love her!
yes, but it's late and I'm not writing any more.
16. Worst single from Sacred Heart?
I know a lot people like it, but I was very disappointed by the Dirty Mind
remixes. I loved that song the way it was.
Run Silent, Run Deep
Run Silent
"Break My Heart"
Run Silent
Liked 'em all!
I hate to do this, but "twist the knife"
Run Silent (but it's hardly a 'bad' song!)
17. Worst single from Hormonally Yours?
Here's another unpopular answer I'm sure..Stay..too sappy. Maybe if it
got less play.
Hello (pompous lyrics!)
Stay
"My 16th Apology"
Hello
My 16th Apology
My 16th Apology
18. Worst video?
I love them all. Can I say Catwoman? Since it was live, it was the least interesting.
Hello
Break my heart & goodbye cruel world (except for fabulous intro.!)
"Heroine"
[Hey has anyone seen the non-live version of this? There are clips of Siobhan
in a white dress at Andy Gordon's web site. Some clips were used in Dirty Mind
1990 too I think. Is this the great lost video??]
Haven't seen any (I saw "Stay" once and the other once also).
never hated any of the ones I saw; was disappointed with Hello
You're History. (too cutesy)
19. Worst track on SH?
This is hard, I just ignore the tracks I don't like!
Run Silent Run Deep
Icky heaven is in your arms
"Could You Be Loved" and "Heaven Is In Your Arms"
Twist the Knife (YUK!)
Twist the Knife/Red Rocket
no
Heaven Is In Your Arms (I know it's a personal song about Dave, but maybe
she should have kept it private!)
20. Worst track on HY?
This is hard, I just ignore the tracks I don't like! Hello
Just the one? my 16th apology; moonchild; stay; trouble with andre
"Black Sky" and "Catwoman"
The Trouble With Andre

Subject: Feminist Songs
There seems to be a crop of feminist songs being released around this time. I could name a handful
(besides "I Can Drive") that have been released in the last few months. I wanted to know what you guys
think are some of the better feminist songs to come out recently. My vote goes EASILY to "Woman" by
Neneh Cherry.

A few weeks ago I might have nominated the Spice Girls' Wannabe, except that I'm beginning to hate it
now.
Special thanks to Lisa at the Fan Club who says that the album is now due for release in early 1997... A
second single was planned for release before Christmas, though whether this happens or not remains to be
seen.
Lisa also says
" Siobhan just got back from Ireland where she was working on a small film (a friend of Siobhan's who
was working on the film asked Siobhan if she would like to be in it). At the moment she is working with
producer Steve Lironi in London. She recently put together a new band together to record some new
material.
I'm sure you heard that Siobhan and Dave have split (this is true)."
The address of the fan club, Harmonally Yours, is 5 Freda Corbett Close, LONDON, SE15 6UN,
ENGLAND.
Mike.

Finally for now, the first (and only??) batch of results from the 2nd survey. Please feel free to send in your
replies if you haven't done so already. Let me know if you want the questions again.
> a. what other artists do you enjoy besides
Bananarama, Whigfield, Ace of Base, Madonna, ALL eurodance, Cathy Dennis, Pet Shop Boys....and also
Paula Abdul
Bananarama, george michael, eurythmics, adventures
Sheena Easton, Neneh Cherry, Sam Phillips, Enya (Marcy of course)
Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Bananarama, Erasure, Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Alanis Morisette, Blondie
Bananarama, Cyndi Lauper, Sam Brown, Lisa Stansfield, Eurythmics/Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks,
Madonna, Pet Shop Boys.
> b. what is your opinion of Siobhan's material sans Marcella
heard only one song and it sounds okay....but Marcella's vocals were an important bit in former
singles....REUNION!!!
its better.
From what I've heard (four or five songs) it not as good. Lyrically SS has always been weak, I
think, except for some nice lines here and there. However, the music is also a problem now. I Can Drive is
a nice attempt at feminism but it's hardly gracefully done. The music is also very awkwardly arranged. On
"Oh No, It's Michael" (which I'm starting to like more now) the music is better but Siobhan doesn't really
sound like she wants to be singing it. I won't even mention "Prehistoric Daze." Siobhan should go for a
harder rock sound - her voice suits it. And maybe get a different writing partner other than Dave Stewart.
I quite like it. I was a little apprehensive listening to "I CAN DRIVE" at first, and I thought it was awful.
Know I have grown to like it a lot. I really think the deep growl of Siobhan with Marcy's high pitched
squeals were a winning combination. I don't think Siobhan will be as successful solo though.
It is quite fabulous: my basic love for SS is centred on Siobhan's talents and voice, but I can't help but feel
that there is something missing without Marcy. They had a fantastic winning combination, and it's a
shame Siobhan couldn't continue in that way. On the other hand it now gives us _two_ artists to enjoy!
> c. what are your fave SS remixes; who would you like to see remix a SS
> song--which song?
:(..haven't heard anY!!
fave mix? GCW (BTO) BMH (shep pettibone); IDC dance remix is needed.
I hate remixes in general. They get very tired.
My fave is the "Goodbye Cruel World" BTO Remix. As well I love the Revolution Remix of "Run Silent"
and the Green Eyed Dub of "Black Sky". I would love to see Armand Van Helden do a SS remix.
The remixes of Black Sky are just too fabulous for words. Overall though, I'd have to say the Pull Down
Your Pants mix of I Can Drive is HOT!
We need some heavy dance makeovers. Armand Van Helden would be great. Some standard (albeit
cliched) David Morales and Junior Vasquez factory mixes would be good. On the other hand, the use of
relatively "unknown" remixers for I Can Drive (i.e. Rachel Auburn and Roger Fearless) produced some
interesting results, and it probably fits in better with Siobhan's desire to be "different" to go with the
unknowns and not the generic dance stuff.
> d. what is your favorite lyric from a SS song
ALL the lyrics in "I DOn't Care"!!
i. ...break down the door and reach for the power drill, put holes in the wall better get my happy pills.."
ii. ...walking through the rooms in my head I came across your image you looked at me with that sweet
smile and said something they wont let me repeat...
iii ...don't talk of revolution as a thing of the past...
iv...faces thin as credit cards I walk past people selling simple sex and all the records using cheap effects...
"When your pride is on the floor, I'll make you beg for more" (wicked). That's just a spontaneous
answer.
My fave is from "You Made Me Come to This":
"Hey! How are your friends doing these days? Are they still stupid?!"
You Made Me Come To This:
"Hey! How are your friends doing these days? Are they still stupid?" So bitchy. So typically Siobhan! A
Bananarama reference??!!! (Ooops, we're not supposed to promote hatred between them anymore are we,
since they may do a single together sometime!) :-D
> e. what do you think the future of SS will be with Siobhan gone solo
She's gonna kick ass!!
WORLD DOMINATION
It doesn't look good from how the charts have received her. I think she could have blasted back
with force if she chose a better song for her first single in four years! Still, I definitely think she can pull it
off.
Not as successful. I think Marcy was an integral part of SS, although it shall be interesting to hear more of
the new material. Dave Stewart was also a great working part of the group, and only time will tell if she can
meet the success of HY.
There won't be the mega-successful hits like You're History and Stay. It'll be more low-key. I hope she'll
be happy with this and will stick around and keep making music.
> f. what was your favorite Siobhan look in the days of Bananarama;
5 words "ROBERT DE NIRO'S WAITING" video!!
robert de niros' and recent
Clueless on this one.
I loved her most in the "I Can't Help It!" video. She looked so fab in the days of WOW! I always thought
she was the most stylish and having the most fun.
The fantastic light brown hair in the I Can't Help It video, and sleeve of Greatest Hits. Also the black roots
under platinum blonde look in Venus is fabulous!
> post-Bananarama
She looks eerily great on the CD cover of "Stay". I have yet to get a look at her new look, as the CD single
picture reveals little.
The super-curly long black hair was great.
> g. have you ever seen SS in concert? If so, describe the experience
:(...no but I dreamt that I saw the "I can Drive" video!!:(
no
No, damnit!
NO! unfortunately, they only went to Toronto! Damn them!
NO! Sob!
> h. movie soundtrack you'd most like to see SS work on
I wish she was on "trainspotting"!!
AbFab
Obviously if Catwoman got her own movie (with Michelle Pfeiffer reprising her role) SS would
be the obvious choice!
TRAINSPOTTING! Heroin '96 (sans the 'e') would have been a brilliant remix for the movie. I can
envision the video with Siobhan looking all fucked up in a room suffering from withdrawal, and little
snippets of the movie interspliced. She would be a living metaphor for heroin, (and have a similar makeup
look as in the "Stay" video), taunting people who need a new 'kick'. So cool..
Any tacky fab cult film.
