"Yo Frack," Brian said on his cell phone. "How's good old Ruskin?"
"Same old, same old," Nick muttered. "I'm just about to take AC and Angel to the arcade."
"Have fun,' Brian said. "Don't let em beat you to bad."
"I won't," Nick said. "What are you doing?"
"AJ and Grace are dragging me to a new club," Brian said. "They are too much."
"Have a good time Frick," Nick said.
"You too Frack," Brian said, hanging up his phone.
"How's Kaos?" AJ asked when they got to the club.
"He's cool," Brian said. Brian saw a flash of red hair. That made him think of a girl he had seen in the parking lot of Howie's apartment a week earlier. The girl in the parking lot had made Brian think of Dallas McKenzie. Dallas was the first girl he had ever loved. The first girl to break his heart. Brian sighed.
"What's the matter Bri?" Grayson asked.
"Nothing," Brian sighed. "Just thinking about someone I used to know."
"So you guys want something to drink?" AJ asked. Grayson and Brian both asked for beers.
"This Bud's for you man," AJ said, returning to the table with three beers.
"Thanks," Brian muttered.
"Hate to leave you alone B-Rok, but I need to dance with this blonde bombshell," AJ said.
Brian stood at the table, trying to figure out how long he would have to stay at the club when somebody accidently knocked into him.
"Sorry," the red-haired girl said breathlessly. "My friends are a little drunk."
"No prob-" Brian started.
"Hey! Brian!" the girl exclaimed. "It's been such a long time since I've seen you!"
"Dallas?" Brian asked. "What are you doing in Orlando?"
"I work for Disney World," she answered. "Customer services rep."
"Cool," Brian said.
"You're kinda famous now aren't you?" Dallas asked. Brian nodded. "We all knew you would be."
"I was just thinking about you," Brian blurted out.
Dallas' face fell. "Really? Good thoughts I hope."
"Some," Brian said. "Lemme buy you a drink."
"Alright," Dallas said.
