Another year has passed,
One I'm glad is gone.
A year of trouble, yet success
As we try to sing our songs.
As we moved from town to town
Never stopping for a day,
We sing a song or two
And then we're on our way.
Success has come at last,
I see the light ahead,
Future never knowing
As I lie awake in bed.
Can't wait to settle down,
To finally have some fun.
To spend some time together
Just me, my brothers and mum.
It's thanks to everyone
For their confidence and time,
Trust, belief and hopes
For the dreams that were mine.
Now it's great to be out there,
To sing for everyone.
Thank you everybody, Thanks from 911.

'96 began on January 1, twelve months
of hard work lay ahead
Gig after gig from Plymouth to Wick,
Thousands of miles to my bed.
Night To Remember was first in line,
But with great fans and good luck
We scraped in at Number 38.
Magaluf the place, TV HITS on the case
And a wee Scotsman called Jan
Propping up the bar, he shouts,
"Celebration
It's the video of Love Sensation"
July 29th it's released and summer's begun.
Did lots of signings and nail biting, but wahey, Number 21!
Now September, it's my birthday and what a surprise,
Virgin's in the chair as we sign on the dotted line.
October 28th and Don't Make Me Wait is released,
Spike's come off his crutches, Jimmy's gone mad again.
We worked hard and prayed and I can't believe it -
We just got to number 10!
Top Of The Pops a dream come true,
we're all a bag of nerves.
Singing live is just the vibe and we dedicate to you
All our love to all of you, whether old or young
Thanx for being there throughout this
year, but the story's just begun!

Jimmy
From the day we were born we were
destined to perform.
The years ahead were so hard
'til we met a ginger Scotsman, losing
his hair and talking
While we travelled the country,
sneaked in hotels a plenty,
Performed anywhere just for kicks,
Bought stage gear for ten pounds,
not even enough money for a round.
Squashed in the back of a Peugeot 306,
Night To Remember was our very
first single - we wanted respect but
people would just giggle.
They said we'd waste our time.
Love Sensation got even higher
slowly getting what we desired -
look who's laughing this time!
After struggling on an independent
label, a deal was put on the table.
So the moral of the story, work hard
and you'll receive your glory.
All the people in the office, altogether
make the success of 911!
