The Nine Satanic Sins
I. Stupidity: not the lack of knowledge, but the lack of thought.
II. Pretentiousness: over-blown senses of superiority mask awareness of your true circumstances.
III. Solipsism: a lack of awareness of the train of thought of other people leads to confusion and dogmatism--always keep an open mind and always make sure you're on the same page with other people.
IV. Self-deceit: very dangerous for religions and philosophies. Satanism tends to mirror Nietzsche's attitude of "moral psychology": what goes on in our minds comes out through our beliefs. Philosophy is a matter of "spiritual" life and death--never decieve yourself if you want to live.
V. Herd conformity: the goal of Satanism is the cultivation of the individual. The "herd" may benefit you, but usually it's the "herd" because it's afraid to strike out on its own.
VI. Lack of perspective: Our ideas on truth and morality are formed by our perspective on the world. Perspectives vary by person, by gender, by nationality, and by time. Always remember that a different view is not by definition a "bad" view.
VII. Forgetfulness of past orthodoxies: "Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it in the future"--a reference to failed ideas.
VIII. Counterproductive pride: Pride is perfectly fine. But arrogance ang egotism is not.
IX. Lack of aesthetics: That which is beautiful is that which uplifts. "To give style to one's character--a great and rare art!" as Nietzsche put it. Always be aware of beauty.
