I recently started a new job. Everyone there seems to be pretty cool. Through normal conversation, I kept hearing stories about another bartender that works there. Everyone thinks she way cool, beautiful, and just an overall great person. The girls all want to be her friend and the guys all want to date her.
A week goes by before I finally meet her. As soon as I saw her I realized all the stories were true! Once I talked with her I was hooked.
Over the next few weeks we talked quite a lot. But, every time I asked her out she said no. She has a strict policy about not dating people at work. Can't say I blame her. But, I persisted.
It was obvious the thing we had in common is our taste in music. I mean it was scary how similar it was. Except for one group. You guessed it she didn't really like the BNL! But, in her defense all she had heard as "Stunt". So in an effort to "expose" her to the true magic that is the "Barenaked Ladies" I bought her a copy of "Gordon".
Well, in a failed attempt to make a long story short, the next day SHE asked ME out. It's been almost three months now and I've never been happier. My goal is to get the guys to play at my wedding!
Was it the music that changed the way she thought of me? Some say yes. Some say no. But, it definitely changed my life!
