After 10yrs., the Goo Goo Dolls have it it big with the singles "Iris" and "Slide". GF caught up with the band.
GF: How do you feel about the humungous sucess of "Iris"?
RT: It's just weird, it's so strange
GF: What's with the name Goo Goo Dolls?
RT: We used to be a trash band, and we thought it would be funny to be that hard and fast and to be called the Goo Goo Dolls
GF:What's the best thing about fame?
RT: Fame is just a by-product of doing something well. It's a valadation that you're doing a great job.
GF:What's the craziest thing a fan has ever done?
RT:Johnny has a Picasso tattoo on his arm. A girl walked up and she had a tattoo exacly like his. He said the greatest thing to her, 'I've got one just like you!'
