1970-72 Winchester, in 1970, bear Tom Hamilton and guitarist Joe Perry that played together in a band of " Jams " they join to vocalist Steven Tyler in the city of Sunapee. Therefore the drummer Joey Kramer and guitarist Brad Withford are recruited to complete what would be one of the largest and more durable bands of the whole history of the rock. It would not delay a lot for them if they move for Boston, and in 1972 the band attracts a great partisan when it captures the local promoter Frank Connely, that introduces the band in Leber-Krebs, Inc. Some weeks then, Clive Davis does with that the boys of Aerosmith sign with Columbia Records. In the same year, they record its premiere album that takes the name of the band.
1973 with its first disk, Aerosmith, is the boys' hour they to drop for the first time in the highway for the tour of release of this disk. The band begins to travel without stopping what finishes it giving experience more and more to proceed ahead. In this time they make several shows in clubs and schools. In the autumn they record Get Your Wings with Jack Douglas.

1976 Rocks. This is the first album of the band without songs " cover ", everybody is composed for the own members of Aerosmith. With this work they got to win Triple Disk of Platinum. 1977 Draw the Line. Also produced by Jack Douglas. This is the fifth album of Aerosmith and he/she left a little before Christmas. To this height the band was already consolidating its career. Draw the Line got faster Disk of Platinum than the previous disk.
1978 and now that the faces of Aerosmith become more and more popular, the first invitation appears for the movies. The premiere of the film Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band appearing like " F.V.B "., that is to say " THE Villainous of the Band of the Future ". They also threw its album (Double Platinum!) Live! 1980 Aerosmith retakes the turnê and it throws its " multi-platinum " Greatest Hist album. At the same time, the former guitarist Joe Perry arrives with its first work Let The Music Of The Talking and you/he/she begins a series of shows in night clubs and small spaces with its new band, The Joe Perry Project.
1981 more a drop. Guitarist Brad Withford leaves the band and she joins with Derek St. Holmes to record Withford/St. Holmes. Joe Perry records I've Got The Rock n' Roll Again in the same time, while the vocalist recovers of a motorcycle accident.
1982-83 guitarist Rick Dufay substitutes Brad Withford. Aerosmith joins again to producing Jack Douglas to record Rock In Hard Place, and it retakes the vigorous rhythm of its turnê. The Joe Perry Project leaves recording Columbia and it records Once Rocker Always Rocker for MCA.
1984 in a holiday of " Valentine's Day " (it is the North American version of the Day of the Boyfriend and girlfriend), Joe Perry and Brad Withford visit its old companions of band of Aerosmith in a show that they do in Orpheum Theater in Boston. In April, it is announced that the original formation of Aerosmith will meet for a turnê.
1985-86 now are the time of the band to sign a new contract with Geffen Records and to record Done With Mirrors with Ted Templeman's production. An extensive turnê is made soon soon after as support to the release of the disk. Steven and Joe appear in the version of " Walk This Way ", of Run DMC' s music that nowadays is had as a classic of the rap.
1987-88 Permanent Vacation arrives to prove that Aerosmith is stronger than never and it marks the first collaboration of the band with Bruce Fairbairn. With a massiva execution in radios, the band begins a tour for the United States integer, Europe and Japan. 1989 the band loosens Pump in the autumn and east disk torpedoes directly for the top of the stops.

" Livin' On The Edge ", "Crying " and " Amazing " explode for whole the top of the stops and the band drops again in the highway for the world turnê on June 2. The band stores prizes including a Viewers Choice Award - he/she Chooses of the Audience for the vídeoclip of " Livin' On The Edge " in the party of Video Music Awards of North American MTV, a star in the roadway of the Fame of Boston's Tower Records and a Bilboard Music Award as better performance of a rock band.
1994 Aero accelerates the pulse established in the previous year, totally continuing its world tour with a show allotted in " The Boston Garden " by the commemorations of the first day of the year. The group goes by each country of Europe and he/she plays for the first time in South America. In Brazil they participate of Hollywood Rock in São Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro, having been the competed nights of the festival. Since they played here, they plan to return for a larger tour for several cities, but due to the last incidents with the band didn't still get to return. Even so don't discourage because the chances of this to happen is very close! Well, returning the world tour that it included this South American arm, they accumulate 225 shows at the same time that Get Grip already surpassed the house of the 12 million copies. Another prominence on this year includes an appearance in the new version of 1994 of the festival of Woodstock, where they played for more than 400.000 people. Along the year, Aerosmith continues accumulating awards - they won a Grammy as " Better Performance of Rock of a duo or group " with the vocal of " Livin' On The Edge "; they still took 3 Video MTV Music Awards for the vídeoclip of " Crying " that counts with actress Alícia Silverstone's participation, that practically was more well-known after this appearance. Columbia re-edits, just in Europe, Pandora's Toys bringing 12 favorite music of the selected of the box band that he/she had left already, Pandora's Box. The Box of Fire, a CD with the limited edition is also thrown by Columbia Records and he/she brings 12 classic albums of the Aerosmith remasterizados. 1995 the prosperity continues! Aerosmith marches for 95 with a Grammy as Better Performance of of Rock duo or group with the vocal of " Crazy " and still THE choice of the Audience as better group. In January, Steven and Joe vests Led Zeppelin in Hall of the Fame of the Rock and Roll. Aerosmith's Greatest Hits already reaches to 200th week in the stops and the band begins to write for its first and newer release of its historical return Columbia Records.
1997-98 come out Nine Lives. This disk already comes breaking sale records in spite of the incidents that surround it from the recordings. They had that ruled it for imposition of the recording. Another problem that you/they faced is that had to change the layer of the CD because there was an illustration that offended its faiths according to Hare Krisna. Therefore after the world release of the disk, they drop in the highway for the tour of support of the same. Steven Tyler breaks the ligaments of its knee during a presentation in Alaska and he has to submit to a surgery. On the other hand the drummer Joey Kramer suffered burns of second degree when its Ferrari caught fire in a gas station. Well, but it seems that the witches already left and everything to the few turn to the normal rhythm of Aerosmith, what means a lot of work: shows about of the world, interviews, performances in programs of TV, etc, etc. Still in 1998 they are invited to participate of the sound trail of the film Armageddon, whose main star is anything plus, nothing less than Liv Tyler, daughter of Steven Tyler, that nowadays nor she needs more to be worth of the fact of having a famous father to get good papers. The composed music is the theme of the characters' romantic pair interpreted by Liv and for actor Ben Affleck. The video, that he/she brings scenes of the film scenes of the film, it continues being exhibited massively by MTV s of the world, although the film is not showing more. But the year of Aerosmith didn't stop thereabout... They still threw a live disk, Little South of Sanity, that is a compilation of 23 music recorded during Cds Get a Grip tour (1993) and of Nine Lives (1997).
