The Sacred Scrolls of Woodstock
And the Manifestation of
The Purple Glomp
The source, origin and creation of the true Hippie Consciousness was manifested into reality by the Urantia event known as “Woodstock” at Bethel, N.Y. in August of 1969. There in the combined minds of the 500,000 hippies actually present but more importantly in the millions of minds in route to the event a consciousness was created, rather induced from the Purple Haze. Thus, the earthly presents of the Purple Glomp was manifested into physical reality out of the trinity of spirit from SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll, and so in the midst of nudity, mudslides, rain and thunder, while surrounded by music, hippiedom was born.
In the minds of the mortal hippies of Urantia, --(that being the name of your planet earth as it is know throughout the super universe and the central universe of the Ile d’Odyssey as will be described below,) – there exists great confusion and uncertainty about the meaning and spiritual reality created from such simple terms as SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll. The majority of human beings are still confused and unable to understand the ancient concepts of the trinity of spirit past down to your civilization over 5,000 years ago. It is only a sacred few on your planet that have now understood the true meaning of the highest form of consciousness capable of being experienced by the spirit that resides within a mortal soul. There in fact is even more confusion about the divine personalities that are designated by these numerous appellations. It is because of this conceptual poverty associated with so much ideational confusion, we, the present Paradise Trinity have been directed to formulate these Sacred Scrolls. These Scrolls are merely an introductory statement in explanation of the meanings which should be attached to certain word symbols as they may be hereinafter used in your communications which the truth revealers have been authorized to translate into the English language of Urantia.
It is exceedingly difficult to present enlarged concepts and advanced truths in our endeavor to expand the cosmic consciousness and enhance spiritual perception, when we are restricted to the use of the circumscribed language of the realm. But, our mandate admonishes us to make every effort to convey our meanings by using the word symbols of the English Tongue. We have been instructed to introduce new terms only when the concept to be portrayed finds no terminology in English which can be employed to convey such a new concept partially or even with more or less distortion of meaning. We will refer you to the written word of your realm so noted below for additional text to study the true meaning of spirit and consciousness, which we are attempting to describe.
Remember in reading the written word to not get lost in the meaning of the words but what is said must be felt by your spirit and applied only when you are under the true influences of SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll. Remember it is all there for those who have sought and through teaching you will be taught. Thus, the true meanings are in reality learned through the spoken word, as it will be past to generation upon generation in the circle of life. Seek out the Trinity and disciples of the Spirit and hear their words to truly understand.
In the hope of facilitating comprehension and of preventing confusion on the part of every mortal who may peruse these pages, we deem it wise to present in this initial statement an outline of the meanings to be attached to numerous English words which are to be employed in the designation of Deity and certain associated concepts of things, meanings and values of the Universal Hippie Reality that exists in all infinity.
Your World Earth – Urantia, is one of many similar inhabited planets that comprise your local universe (what you know as the Milky Way Galaxy is known as Nebadon.) This universe, together with similar creations, makes up the super universe of Orvonton (the extent to which you presently can view as your known universe), from whose capital Uversa, our thoughts hail to you. Orvonton is only one of the seven evolutionary super universes that make-up time and space, which circle the never-beginning, never-ending creation of divine perfection – the central universe of Havona. It is this central universe that we are all evolving towards and seeking to achieve in our spirit of spirits. At the heart of this eternal and central universe is the stationary Ile d’Odyssey, the geographic center of infinity and the dwelling place of the eternal Purple Glomp. The seven evolving super universes in association with the central and divine universe, we commonly refer to as the Grand Universe. These are the now organized and inhabited creations. We are all a part of the Master Universe, which also embraces the uninhabited but mobilizing universes of outer space, as you would call it. You must remember that “As is above. -- As is below.” As you look from your world out into space, you will find that the same reality exists when one looks inside. What is reality when you look through a telescope and a microscope and you find that they are really the same? It is only a matter of size. Size only exists in physical reality, as Alice found out when she ate the mushroom – one side makes you smaller and one side makes you larger. All true Hippies understand this reality and are conscious of and connected to the whole universe when fully experienced and proficient in the use of the Trinity Spirit.
I. Deity and Divinity
The universe of the universes presents phenomena of Deity activities of diverse levels of cosmic reality, mind meanings, and spiritual values. But all of these ministrations – personal or otherwise -- are divinely co-ordinated. It is only apparent to us that are looking and if you are reading this, then you are a seeker. So, listen all you seekers!
Deity was personalizable on Urantia in the true hippie consciousness as the Purple Glomp. His presence and reality took over two years to be recognized and demonstrated to a tribe on your planet. Deity is prepersonal and superpersonal in ways not altogether comprehensible by man. Deity is characterized by the quality of unity – actual or potential – on all supermaterial levels of reality; and this unifying quality is best comprehended by creatures as divinity. On Urantia the first unity of spirit was recognized, felt and realized by the entire known universe through the combined Hippie consciousness, which culminated and manifested itself as “Woodstock.” Those three days of Fun and Music with nothing but fun and music has created the reality of the Woodstock generation and has been carried further by every generation that has followed. The unity of spirit felt by all that call themselves Brothers to this spirit have felt the Deity of Divine Unity which was first manifested in finite realities of true consciousness of Divinity at Woodstock.
Deity may be existential, as in the Eternal Son, realized in the Deity of Drugs; experiential, as in the Supreme of Being, as realized as “I am, therefore, I am; associative, as in the Purple Glomp; and undivided, as in the Paradise Trinity of SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll.”
II. The Purple Glomp
Evolving mortal Hippie creatures experience an irresistible urge to symbolize their finite concepts of their use of the word G_d. Man’s consciousness of moral duty and his spiritual idealism represents a value level – a separate reality – which is difficult of symbolization.
In a true and literal cosmic sense, Hippie consciousness implies the recognition of a first cause, the one and only uncaused reality. But, in reality, The Purple Glomp, the Universal Father, functions on three Deities – personality levels of subinfinite value and relative divinity expression. This can best be represented to the mortal Hippie mind looking for the life plan and the way to true spiritual enlightenment is right in front of you. Grace Slick,(lead singer of Jefferson Airplane),when asked in an interview which did she enjoy the most from the sixties: Sex, Drugs or Rock'n Roll? Her reply was "But they are ONE THING!" This confirms our meaning that while they are a trinity they are one manifested into reality as The Purple Glomp.
1. SEX – is Personal -- as in the evolutionary experience of created and procreated beings. Go forth and multiple is a Divine concept. SEX is to be performed in all forms by all creatures. But only mankind is allowed to truly enjoy it. Free love is Divine as we are intended to experience the joy of SEX, with whom, between whom does not matter. Man, women and beast should experience SEX on all levels, as long as you take time out to fulfill the covenant to procreate.
2. DRUGS – Prepersonal – as in the ministry of the thought fragments, such as the experience of a separate reality. Remember, always, to go higher. We are evolutionary beings in search of a higher reality and a higher consciousness. There are many road to take and the dark side forces are always present. We cannot conceive of a higher source if we did not believe in the lower. We cannot experience good without evil, high without low. The epitaph of a true seeker is onward and upward to infinity.
3. Rock’n Roll – Superpersonal – as in the eventuated existences of certain absonite musical feeling and associated temporal beings i.e., Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison. All are collective in the term Ah –UM the dance around the campfire is universally understood by your primitive societies, yet seems to be forgotten by your advanced civilizations. The Rock concerts in America are Divinely important to the perpetuation of this cosmic reality. Rock Festivals are even more important as they create a large unifying body capable of manifesting the Purple Glomp.
The Purple Glomp is only a word symbol designating all personalization of this trinity of Deity. The term requires a different definition on each personal level of Deity function and must be still further redefined within each of these levels, as this term may be used to designate the diverse co-ordinate and subordinate personalization. For example: the Paradise Creator Sons -- the local universe fathers who represent the true infinite Hippie consciousness -- and your living life in pursuit of paradise existence with SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll.
Therefore, it will be manifested on Urantia that Paradise Creator Sons of your local Hippie Universe will be recognized every decade to pass the Woodstock consciousness down to the generations for time immortal. It is through this process that we are certain that Rock’n Roll will never die. We must remember the divine words of Jim Morrison – “Music is your only friend. Until the end. Until the end”!
So, as you say, WHAT IS REALITY? As comprehended by finite beings, it is partial, relative, and shadowy. The maximum Purple Glomp’s Woodstock reality when fully comprehended by evolutionary finite Hippie creatures is embraced with the Supreme of Being. Nevertheless, there are antecedent and eternal realities, superfinite realities, which are ancestral to this Supreme Hippie Deity of evolutionary time-space creatures, in attempting to portray the origin to reach the level of the finite mind. Therefore must many of the simultaneous events of eternity be presented as sequential transactions. Everything that is, can exist, that has existed and will exist can come together in one place in one time.
As a time-space creature would view the origin and differentiation of Reality, the eternal and infinite I AM therefore I AM achieved Deity liberation from the fetters of unqualified infinity through the exercise of inherent and eternal free will.
In this original transaction, the theoretical I AM achieved the realization of personality by becoming the Purple Glomp for the Original Woodstock Generation, simultaneously with becoming the Eternal Source for Love and Light to the Ile d’Odyssey. Coexistent with the differentiation of the Son of Drugs from the Father of Sex and in the presence of Paradise, there appeared the persona of the Infinite Spirit of Rock’n Roll, and the full realization that the central universe of Havona, was achieved for Urantia at Woodstock. When one realizes that this event is occurring on billions of billions of evolutionary planets throughout time and space now and infinitely in the past and present the sense of UNITY – We are all Brothers! Can bring a small measure of sense of Reality to your consciousness. But there is more:
THE CONCEPT OF THE I AM is a philosophical concession which we make to the time-bound, space–feted, finite mind of man, to the impossibility of creature comprehension of the eternity existences – non-beginning, -- non-ending – realities and relationships. To the time-space creature, all things must have a beginning and an end (I am born therefore I am and I die therefore I am not.) Save only for your feeble concept of the ONE UNCAUSED – the most primitive concept of your notion of a G_D – the scientific primeval cause of causes – your big bang theory, which you have yet to prove or disprove. Therefore, to you do we conceptualize this philosophic value level as the I AM? At the same time instructing all creatures that the Eternal Hippie drug induced consciousness and the Infinite Spirit of Rock’n Roll are co-eternal with the I AM. In other words, that there never was a time when the I AM was not without the spirit of Woodstock and the existence of SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll is infinite.
Much of the confusion of all orders of beings, high and low, in their efforts to discover the Infinite Reality is inherent in their limitations of comprehension. The absolute primacy of the Purple Glomp is not apparent on subinfinite levels. Therefore, it is probable that only through the experience of drugs and rock’n roll that only true Woodstock Hippies truly know the Purple Glomp and the I AM reality as an infinity: to all other personalities such a concept represents the exercise of Faith!
III Self- Distribution of the First Source and Center
It would seem that the Purple Glomp, back in eternity, inaugurated a policy of profound self-distribution. There is inherent in the selfless, loving and lovable nature of the Universal Purple Glomp something which causes him to reserve to himself the exercise of only those powers and that authority which he apparently finds it impossible to delegate or to bestow. Our philosophers call this the creation of Free Will.
The Purple Glomp all along has divested himself of every part of himself that was bestowable on any other Creator or creature. He has delegated to his Divine Hippie children and their associated intelligences every power and all authority that could be delegated. He has actually transferred to his Sovereign Hippie Children, in their respective universes, every prerogative of administrative authority that was transferable. In the affairs of a local universe, he has made each Sovereign Paradise Creator Son as perfect, competent and authoritative as is the Eternal Hippie Children in their original and central universe. He has given away, actually bestowed, with the dignity and sanctity of personality procession, all of himself and all of his attributes, everything he possibly could divest himself of, in every way, in every age, in every place, and to every Hippie and in every universe except that of his central indwelling. When one recognizes this, they become a true “SEER”, no longer Seeking but using the power to influence, opening the minds of seekers, a teller of tales, a bestower of wisdom, a person of real power. You certainly will know when you’re in their presence. Seek them out and their disciples for they are there to help you along the way. Through the use of Free Will we lose most, but fret not for those that fail to follow the true life’s path, grow away from the Trinity for they will merely have to come around again.
The three eldest resident Paradise Sons of the Purple Glomp on the evolutionary worlds will, every ten years, unite their consciousness with that of the three truest hippies of the current generation and even there dwell in the likeness of mortal flesh. This bestowal’s make it possible for mortal man actually to know something of the nature and character of the Divine Woodstock Personality. Therefore, must the creatures of the planetary spheres look to the bestowal of these Paradise Sons for reliable and trustworthy information regarding the reality of SEX, DRUGS and Rock’n Roll! It is through the knowledge of the existence in physical reality of the Paradise Sons, that generations to follow have a vision that they are on the right path. They have representatives of generations before them that still represent the True Hippie Personality. They can live in the world with the knowledge that Hippies are eternal.
Hereafter, in the month of August in the last year of each decade following the manifestation of Woodstock August 1969 an inauguration will be celebrated. In the preceding year a call will go out to the Hippie tribes of Urantia for the celebration of Woodstock’s love and life with a weekend of peace and music and nothing but peace and music. During the proceeding year candidates will be selected from the tribes to determine the true representatives of this generation. It is at this time that the Trinity of Paradise Creator Sons of the Ile d’Odyssey will reveal to the next generation of Hippies, the next true Trinity of Paradise Creator Sons for the entire world to know. To honor those present, the presentation of the PURPLE GLOMP’S WRETCHED EXCESS AWARDS will be bestowed upon the deserving friends. While only three may be selected many disciples will be found and it is a true honor for any generation to be known as an acknowledged candidate.
Before setting their seal to the SACRED SCROLLS OF WOOODSTOCK, each Trinity Paradise Creator Son will recite the rights of the Purple Glomp and will call out the names of the litany of Trinity Sons for all generations.
