Ratt did a great job and this time they had Peacy's mic turned up! He and the Band sounded great and played for around 90 min. Set list included, Lay it Down, Lack of Communication, Wanted Man, You're in Love, Way Cool Jr., I'm Insane, Back for More, Round & Round, Slip of the Lip, and three off the NEW CD, Luv Sick, Live for Today, and Over the Edge, which they did a killer job on! I really enjoyed this show, the band seemed to be in great spirits and were crackin' a few jokes and tellin' fans how much they appreciated everyone coming out to rock with them. Unfortunely I couldn't take pix at the show, but my wife and I did get to meet the band afterwards and we had them sign the new cd and poster.
Thanks RATT for one Hell of a night!

RATT October 1997
Back for More Tour
Arrived at the Royal Grove just before 6pm with my brother, Tim and his friend Jeff. Got in the doors just before they closed and watched Warren & Crane help with tunin-up and doin sound checks & and man even the sound checks were LOUD!!! They kicked everyone out after about 30 minutes, so we hadda wait in line till 8:15pm. Meanwhile I was lookin for ED-D and Michelle. Spotted ED-D first just a little behind the line we were waiting in, and then he introduced me to Michelle, and took a picture of us together for you RENEE. Both ED-D and Michelle were very cool and nice to me and was cool to meet the spouses too. We were all in the front of the line and by the time 8:15pm rolled around the line was wrapped around the block. ED-D and Michelle sat on the 3rd floor balcony and I sat directly below them on the 2nd, and in my opinion the best seats in the house, and hopefully my pictures will show it (ED-D, Michelle, and RENEE, I will have my pictures by Wednesday).
Now on with the show. Around a 1,000 RATT & ROLLERS Packed the Place. The opening act, Hair of the Dog, sounded awesome and Kicked major A$$. And for ED-D and myself and all the other KISS freaks (showing off the KISS shirts), they played "Deuce" for their grand finale!!!
Finally after a few pitchers of Bud light, it was time to RATT N ROLL!!! SET LIST to the best I can remember goes like this......LOUD, LOUD, and with body piecing sound, just the way I like it!!!
They got on the stage while in the background the Lovin You Collage Remix was playin
then came out of the cellar a "Wanted Man"!!!
New set tunes were "Way Cool Jr." and "I'm Insane"
the rest were pretty much the same set, including
"You Think Your Tough", "Lack of Communication", "STEEL RIVER", "DR. ROCK", "HOLD TIGHT", & "RATT MADNESS", all from Collage.
some others were "Nobody Rides 4 Free", "Back 4 More", "You're In Love", etc.
they played around 1hr. 30min.
BLOTZ's Drum Solo was the Highlight of the Show, it really kicked and he really got the crowd going!!
The show was not perfect like I hoped however, this was because of mainly I couldn't here Pearcy most of the time singing/talking because his mic was not loud enough..The band drowned out almost all the vocals the hole show. The band seemed to be having a great time and Pearcy was in good spirits and had no attitude problem like others have been saying from the other shows, he even was video tapin the crowd for a while. He also sounded great when I could actually hear him. I didn't like the new "ratt" logo, the old one much cooler in my opinion. The band was really good and i enjoyed the show. Very cool to see some of my favorite Ratts for the first time.
After the show, while waiting by the tour bus, I hooked up with Michelle and Comp. again and talked to them till Ratt emerged from the bus! I got a picture with Blotz and got autographs on my Collage cd cover from Warren and Crane. Crane was the most talkative of the bunch and very nice and signed everything. He said Stephen wouldn't be coming out cause he has to ice-down his leg after each show to hold down the swelling....sounds painful, during the show ya could tell he wasn't to mobile but he gave it his 100% and he said they'd be back around next spring with a new RATT tour and cd. Hopefully next time the turn his mic. up, LOL!!! And on a sad note, my brother passed-out half-way though the show along with his bubby, I told them to slow down on the brew but man they tasted so damn good and apparently really good for them..LOL!!! Dumb A$$E$ missed half the fun.
Ratt-N-Roll Lives Once Again,
Scott McFly
P.S. CRANE thank you so much for the address and being so cool to all of us! I'll e-ya soon...best of luck on the rest of the tour and see ya next spring/summer!
