Current Announcements
NEW Tour Dates:
Well, Moist is back again...with a twist! The new tour will be called The Gasoline Tour: Intimate and In Your Face. It will feature dates in theatres (seated shows, no moshpit), a string section, and some new and old songs that are not normally part of the typical Moist set. There are 2 dates so far...Vancouver, November 12th at the Orpheum Theatre; and Toronto, November 21st at Massey Hall.
TORONTO SHOW INFORMATION:
The show is Friday, November 21st, at 8 p.m. at Massey Hall (corner of Shuter and Victoria Sts. one block from Younge). Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, October 10 and are available through the Roy Thompson Hall Box Office, Ticketmaster, and by phone only through Massey Hall. Tickets are $29.50 and $25.50.
Moist News:
Well, it's not a secret anymore...David Usher has been working on a solo album which is almost complete, and should be released sometime in the new year. As well, a Moist EP will be released sometime in November/December that is rumoured to contain the new Gasoline as well as Tangerine re-mixes.
Contests:
Both PANTS Page contests are officially closed. Thank you all for your entries...they were all wonderful. The winners of the contests will be contacted and announced on Monday, October 13. As well the winning entries will be available for perusal on the site, so you can see the hard work that people put into to their great entries...so watch for it!
The Feather Boas:
Whew! It's done...*lol*...all 5 guys are now in possession of feather boas (even Paul, you butch thing! hehe)...Kevin received his blue boa in Hamilton, and Paul received his pink (and sparkly) boa after the show in Hamilton as well. These are in addition to David's black boa, Jeff's red boa, and Mark's purple boa. You will most likely not see the boas on this next tour, and perhaps never again...but a great big pat on the back has to go out to the guys (as well as Stan and Graeme, Boa Masters) for being such good sports...and of course so fetching in their boas ;)
PANTS Page News:
Ok...so you PANTS Mistress, now based in Toronto has been rather lax in her duties...there have been some minor page updates, but nothing huge to speak of. There will be some updates soon, including the winning contest entries...but there is also an announcement regarding a new addition to THE PANTS...
I will be adding a MOIST INFO PAGE to the site...that is to say, biography, discography, etc. It will be a self-contained site however will be a part of THE PANTS and will share a lot of the same characterstics. From the conception of this page i always wanted to end up adding to it all the info that can be found elsewhere, to give it a little something for everyone (or is that, "everything but the kitchen sink")...so, watch for the sister page to THE PANTS (and no, it will not be called "THE SHORTS" or anything like that! *lol*) at the beginning of the new year.
The PANTS Archive:
I am still in need of info on PANTS sightings far and wide, so if you have been to a show, please e-mail me and tell me which pants our beloved Mr. Usher was wearing. I am desperately in need of the above mentioned info regarding shows on the last tour in the praries especially, so please help! :) Check to see if I have your show listed in THE PANTS files and if not, please help me add to the archive. Thanks!
