WHAT ARE THE FEATHER BOAS?
Well, plain old feather boas actually...he he he...but at the moment they are Moist stage props. Mr. David Usher is the owner of a fabuous Black Feather Boa, purchased by the PANTS Mistress in New Orleans, and presented to him in Montreal. Mr. Jeff Pearce is the owner of a gorgeous Red Feather Boa, purchased by the PANTS Mistress' hired help in Stratford, presented to him in Toronto. Mr. Mark Makowy is the owner of a luscious Purple Feather Boa, purchased by the PANTS Mistress and her fellow Mistresses in Toronto, presented to him in Sherbrooke.
WHO HAS WORN THE FEATHER BOAS?
All of the members of Moist have donned a feather boa at one time or another...Mr. Usher has donned the Black Feather Boa repeatedly, Mr. Pearce has donned all 3 of the feather boas (black, red and purple) at various shows, Mr. Makowy has donned all 3 feather boas as well *smirk*, Mr. Young has donned the black feather boa, and Mr. Wilcox has not been seen wearing any of the boas on stage...however he told the PANTS Mistress, "it's hot, itchy, and it leaves crap on your neck". The PANTS Mistress gleans that Mr. Wilcox has worn the boa at some point (Paul, you butch thing you! *giggle*).
ARE THE FEATHER BOAS ON TOUR WITH MOIST?
Yes they are! At the moment the feather boas most often grace the bass drum of Mr. Wilcox. According to Mr. Makowy the purple feather boa has become the band favourite, because of it's high quality nature (no crap on your neck). The boas in fact have even been mentioned in some newspaper and internet articles regarding the bands shows!
WHO TAKES CARE OF THE FEATHER BOA?
It seems that our beloved Stan has taken over duties of caring for THE FEATHER BOAS. He gently carries them out at shows and gingerly places on or beside the drumkit. After the show he carries them off stage to ensure that nothing befalls them. In fact, THE PANTS Mistress saw Mr. Wardle walk past heading backstage with the black feather boa cradled in his arms. Who would have thought that Mr. Wardle could be so loving? It seems that the title befitting Mr. Wardle these days is - STAN: MASTER OF THE FEATHER BOAS! Although, in Sherbrooke the lovely and talented Mr. Graeme McDonald took over the boa duties and made a wonderful Substitute Boa Keeper.
