We're all familiar with Paula's heartwrenching saga of "Nietzche's Eyes". I wonder how many fans know about Nietzche and the references to him in the song. For example, Nietzche was the first to use the term "superman" and in the song, there is a lyric which says "you were not my superman". Nietzche was a philosopher who mainly believed that no matter what, there would always be a class distinction between the rich and the poor, and everywhere in between.
