Warriors of the Month
Warrior of the month -
Donyell Marshall - never thought it could happen, but, yes, Donyell is almost worth what we're paying him this year. With 16 ppg and over 10 rpg, no one else is living up to their potential, or at least getting the chance to.
Honorable mention - Muggsy Bogues Maybe not getting the minutes, but he's the kind of spark that the Warriors need, he just needs to get up off the bench.
Defensive Warrior of the Month -
I guess since they're all tied for last, that makes them all tied for first, CONGRATULATIONS Warriors, defensive Warriors of the month!!
Warrior Rookie of the Month-
Adonal Foyle - are there any other rookies on the team, I don't know.
Dino's Column of the Month
Well it was a hell of a month for the Warriors. And when I say hell I mean Hell. It was the second worst month in Warrior history going 1-13. Not a very good start for the new Arena. I thought that it was going to be a big year this year, and they would be the shock of the NBA. Well in a was right, no one thought that they were going to be this bad. But it's just the start of a new franchise, and it can only get better, I hope.
What we need to happen is for the Warriors to take a stand.
There are no players on this team to build a franchise around.
The franchise foundation left with Run T.M.C., then it came again with Webber, then you know what happened after that.
Spreewell is all but gone, let's just ship him away with his good friend Joe, get a real player like Mitch back, I don't think he would like that much but what a trade that would be, and maybe get a few good players like Williamson and Abdul-Whad, or whatever Olivier changed his name to. That would be fun and the baby would get to be a loser with Billy O. again.
Or when Spree comes back sit his ass at the end of the bench, start the quality players that they have like Shaw and Mugsy. They need leadership in the back court, not a Bimbo.
