"Creosote"

Creosote has best been described by Hunter Boxley when he said:
“The huge dynamic variety of the music certainly makes up for the lack of genetic variability in the members“ Hunter also best defines creosote as: cre*o*sote n. 1. A colorless to yellowish oily liquid obtained by the destructive distillation of wood tar, esp. from beechwood, and formally used to treat tuberculosis and chronic bronchitis. |
F-tune was cut from this demo but is not gone forever. It may appear in the future when you least expect it. This is by far some of the best clink'n and clank'n squeezed from the boys in studio mode yet. The basses and drums where layed down in the first two days on the first floor of Studio without a single limb lost. (amazing) Followed by a Tom's rhythm guitars (gentle strum to the annihilating hum). Dave's guitars for "Hipters" and "Striped Hat" were also recorded on the first floor. Then things moved up to the third floor where the rest of the guitars, vocals, and other "trinks" (listen carefully) including Dave's slide on crack (inspired by our friends in the back alley) were recorded. Mix down and mastering were done on the last two days of the session using a combination of the third floor and basement. All tracks were dumped to half-inch tape, to hard drive, then burned to CD. We wish we had more time to give ya'll more of what you want but we'll have to settle for a little at a time for now. We really appreciate all the support of our fans and family and hope to keep playing the music you like to hear. We especially would like to thank KENO for the great job he did on this demo and for putting up with all the standard "studio crap" we go through. "Creosote" was recorded for demo purposes but if you would like a tape copy of it contatct Tom at bitterlily@oocities.com.
