Zack's Lunchbox[formerly Leia's Lunchbox]

As of 10/3/98, I recieved an email to let me know that the site had changed addys and names and that was the reason for its disappearance.

rather original =) Though Sparse in its appearance, its still under construction. It is easy to get around on though =) The icons match the theme of the site as well which is really cute =)
there's a review of ozzfest- cool, plus some pictures that i haven't seen before and some i don't see too often. I like the highlighting of special pages for the readers benefit. And there are plenty of links to check out as well. I'd say overall a good page with fun things to do, check out the quiz.
Total: 94/100 A+

Such A Dirty Rock Star

I love the black and white theme of the page, very different and very original! The page though still under construction is a radical change from the typical Manson fan site. (btw check out the NIN site too =) As the site owner says the whole point of this site is to do something different, and it is a success.
Its very easy to move around in and has some different sections to look at. While i originally thought the black and white theme of the page would make it difficult to read and understand, it in fact makes a striking appearance and isn't difficult at all. The starkness of the theme adds greatly to page, no clutter and a crisp clean presentation. (oh yeah and it doesn't take too long to load the page or the images =) While there isn't a lot on the page as yet, there is a great deal of promise for things to come. Oh and the pictures though not many are definitely different from the normal fare of pictures (worth looking at). I looking forward to seeing the finished products of many upcoming additions to the page.
This page is a refreshing change and well done. Though under construction its worth taking a look around at what is there, and coming back again.

Total: 100/100 A++

Irresponsible Hate Page

I think that this is a good page. There's several things here that are different and worth looking at. I like the pictures a lot, its nice to find some different ones! I also like the propaganda section, again nice to find something different in the articles (not to mention the cute little remake of irresponsible hate... =) Its easy on the eyes and easy to maneuver as well.

Overall this page is a 95/100= A

Marilyn Manson: Repent

As of 5/25/98 this site is gone. Again I'll leave this up in case someone is looking for the site. If anyone knows where this site or any other dead site moved to please let me know.

Marilyn Manson: Repent (at their new address now) offers the basic information, but at least credits it =) This site also offers a couple different things though, it offers a copy of Myths and Legends of the Anti- Christ Superstar (I've never seen this before, very cool!) and it has a chat room as well. I liked the idea that this site uses in its Bios section as well. It incorporates the old members in with the new member that replaced them (another different idea =) There are a couple things though, personal pet peeves really.

  • 1.) there are numerous typos- some really bad ones too.
  • 2.) in the section on Zim Zum one little thing. He's credited with live guitar work on the album so there is a little more to his work than just soundtracks (at least that's what i thought).

    Overall not a bad site, a 85/100= B+

  • Anti-Life, A manson page

Up front i have to say i like the graphics you did, nice job =) while the main page loaded a little bit slow that could just be my system so no biggie. I like the Java Script name prompt when i entered, nice personal touch =) However that leads me to my one real complaint (and its just a personal peeve mind you) but traveling back and forth between pages is easy except for that prompt. after the first two times it really becomes annoying. now i don't know much, and i certainly don't know how to even make that come up in the first place, so it impresses me, but also annoys me a little. [ed. note. Snitch Bitch is working on this and hopes to have it fixed soon. I still applaud her work and attempts on this it was just my personal peeve is all] Other than that this is decent page and a good setup, though i did have a couple times where the contrast between the background and the text was a little difficult to read.

So i give this site a 90/100 = A, with the hope that more stuff is to come =)

Welcome to the Site of Sodom

Well Im happy to say that SoS has undergone a major reconstruction and is no longer a mirror site to grimmys page. With that I withdraw my complaints of earlier and say that the site looks rather nice! The graphics are well done and the layout is easy to use. Nice work and Im glad to see the change =)You can find information about the australian release of Dead to the World and Long Hard Road Out of Hell here, as well as articles, images and sounds.

    Anti Christ SVperstar

I think that your page shows good potential but right now its only ok. here's what i thought:
A lot of this is just too similar to other pages, specifically marilyn-manson.com and the church of anti-christ superstar. While i liked the twist you put on the picture in your news section overall the other pics. were just too familiar.

Maybe you should consider using fewer of the spinning shock symbols, maybe go for a different theme such as labeling through the cycles. so many people have those symbols on their page and while i think their cool, its a bit too much. i think your pages get lost in all the symbols and the images. I did however really like the revelations touch. that was cool =) i think that what you have is good but a little too cluttered, it would look a lot better and more stream lined if you took some of it out. if you really want to keep it all then how about maybe moving some of it to another page?

Like I said you have some good ideas, that are different on your page, such as the democracies role and the news section. these are really good. and if you add what you have in the upcoming section it will really aid your site.

The things to come and the different things you have already will make the difference i think in your site. right now its just to similar to all the other sites, as well as in some cases looking too similar to a couple sites.

[ed. note: you have great potential i think to make a decent site but right now its to familiar. i hope that i was helpful in my comments, i wasn't trying to be mean only constructive. ]

    The Suck for your Solution

The Suck for your Solution has lots of stuff to explore and see and is rather impressive. Some of the different things you can find here are:

  • A fan art page
  • video clip for the MTV interview of Manson leaving America
  • Manson for President and Twiggy for VP (cute =)
  • Tenn. POAFF Chapter Page (nice!)
  • Tribute to Ginger Fish
As well there is a picture page with loads of pictures (a few new ones and pictures of old band members.) The pictures page also uses descriptions for each picture, which I personally like! I also really liked the fact that credit is given (plus a link to the original page!) for borrowed stuff on the pages, very nice! Overall the Suck for your Solution is an interesting page with lots of stuff and easy to get around on as well.

  • Marilyn Manson: Beautiful Angel

Beautiful Angel (**still under construction**) offers a couple of neat things:

  • a separate page for web rings (a nice trend that I'm beginning to notice =)
  • a downloadable .zip file of manson fonts
  • and a javascript name thingy that greets with the number of times you've been saved ;-)
While there is a good deal of familiar stuff here I have to say that its presented nicely. The pictures are done in thumbnails (always a plus!) and i did find a couple zimmy pictures that i didn't recognize =) There are also transcripts of the CNN and PI shows in the Interrogation section, for anyone looking for those. the problems i found were simply those due to construction, such as an empty sound section and sparse pictures in some of the categories (but I'm sure those will be remedied with time.) Overall Beautiful Angel is a decent site despite its construction.

    Total 89/100= B+

  • Marilyn Mansons' Funky Little Trip Down in the Park

as of 8/24/98 this site is gone.

This is an interesting page (that took me forever to finally log onto =P but I'm glad i finally got a chance to =) Funky Little Trip offers a few full songs as well as several sound clips on its noise page with has all of the albums, several singles and the early works. It offers a Marilyn Manson store where you can buy the compilation video tape as well as several shows at a rather reasonable price (the page also includes ordering instructions.) The picture page offers some new shots (i liked the nice suit one =) and gives descriptions to each picture (very nice!) Another good thing is that Funky Little Trip credits coyote for the rumor mill page that it put up (high marks for that!) Overall I think Funky Little Trip... is a interesting page with some old and new mixed together in a decent way.
the only problem that i had really was that there were a couple broken links to pictures but they were only a few and the rest were fine.

    Total 85/100= B+

    Angel Spreads Wings

well i finally found its new home =) so once again its back up and running... not to mention that its one of Mansons personally favorite sites =)

well i usually don't do this but i just liked the way the site owner put it in an e-mail response to me so I'll use his words to sum up the site.
"The Main Contents of the Page that I like to let people in on are:
    1. The Magazine Quotes - All arranged by Topic and Date of Magazine
    2. A Dream Section for the Fans to tell their Nighttime Dreams related to the Band.
    3. A Fans Pictures and Quotes Section [Updated 9-3-97]
    4. The REAL PURPOSE behind the band. [Updated 9-3-97]
Focusing on the Elements which make "Marilyn Manson"
    5. Over 50 Pictures.
    6. All the quotes are PRINTIBLE - No Yellow ink to worry about."
So there you go a nice summary of the page as for what i think, i find that overall this is a good page. Its not full of symbols and such as that but instead is a simple straightforward explanation style page. And of course has the rather unique characteristic of offering it for download by fans.

    The Morgue

The Morgue is a nice set of articles with several decent European ones that give a change from the ordinary/normal questions you typically find =) The recent changes in the Interview Archive now provides a short description of the articles and for some a pictures of the cover which gives a nice thumbnail to help you better decide on what you might want to read.
The second main section of the Morgue is the UK Tour Archive. I like this section personally because it has my favorite type of reviews- those that give a more personal description of the event and things that surround the show =)
The Morgue also includes a link to the POAAFA orginial site and the British Chapters home should it be needed =) As well as a new links page for some of her favorite sites.
Overall I really like the Morgue its a good page with an orginal setup.
    Total 100/100 =A+

Church of The Reverand Marilyn Manson

Rev. DunMac gives a very persona (and IMHO) rational view of the fans aspect of MM. DunMac's approach of straight forward open-mindedness is a refreshing thing to see. While the site is under construction it still offeres:

  • lyrics page for covers as well as the albums.
  • an extentions of the misunderstanding of Mansons' message (from ANgel Spreads' Wings and A Messenger of God)
  • some interesting links
  • the politically incorrect espisode
  • and Rev. DunMac's Ordination certificate =)
the only problem that i sometimes had was that it can be a little difficult to read over the backgrounds, but with patience its readable.

  • The Dizzy Edge

As of 5/25/98 this site is down. Again I'll leave this up in case someone is looking for the site. If anyone knows where this site or any other dead site moved to please let me know.

The Dizzy Edge, well i finally made it =) (thanks Dizzy for going netscape compatible ;-) So right off i have to say that you won me over by playing one of my fav. Cure songs!
The DizzyEdge offers some impressive graphics (which are copyrighted people so please ask before you take- ed.note) While there are familar things on the site it also offers something new with each section. There are video and sound clips, links to Warez sites and game pages, fonts (PC only), tabs, the N.J POAAFA page, lyrics, links, pics and personal commentary. Oh yeah, and a search engine too =) A big plus for me was that the web rings have a seperate page so the load time isn't so bad =)
I did however run into a few broken image links and some broken urls too, however i'm not to sure this ins't because its aol and my broswer isn't compatible with aol =P
Truthfully, i'm left dizzy by the shear amount of stuff that's offerd!
