Full Tab!
This song is standard tuning (EADGBE) and is pretty easy. You can use a
capo on fret 4 for the lead bit (the oriental guitar) if you aren't
very good or don't have big stretchy hands. Anyway, it's more of a
challenge to play without a capo and this enables you to be able to
play the chords. The effects used are different. I can emulate them
on my Boss ME-5, which is pretty old but has a compressor,
distortion/overdrive, equalizer, chorus/flanger and reverb/delay.
Intro: There are three parts to this. The first is the lone guitar,
the second is after the riff below the whole song falls in around it
and the guitar doubles after four repeats. The third is a different
riff completely but then it goes back to the original riff to bring
the verse in.
Riff 1:
guitar 1 plays this:
w/metallic sound (use medium distortion and eq.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
------5-h-7-7-7--5-5--4-4--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Riff 2:
guitar 1 plays this
w/fuzzy metallic sound.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| X4
(0.28)
guitar 2 enters playing the same riff along with guitar 1 but uses a more standard distortion effect:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----5-h-7-7-7--5-5--4-4----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------5-5--4-4-----4---4-h-5-p-4------------------------------------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------------7-----------------7-p-4-----------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
(0.37)
guitar 1 stops and guitar 2 plays this solo-type riff:
w/distortion
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
---------------------------------------------------4-h-5-p-4-h-5-p-4-----------|
----------------------------------------------------------------------5-p-4----|
----------------------7-----7--9-s-10-s-9--7--9--------------------------------|
----7-h-9--9-9--7--9-----9-----------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
(0.41)
guitar 2 plays this riff again:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
----5-h-7-7-7--5-5--4-4----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
-------------------------5-5--4-4-----4---4-h-5-p-4------------------------------------------------------------------------|

The bass plays the notes of the chords below and the guitar comes in later in the
verse at (0.56)
Verse:
F# B Em A
I spend my days thinking of you and all we've done,
F# B Em A
Praying you'll never think of me.
F# B Em A
When you left my side I took the freedom as a sign
F# B Em A
And left the past in flames behind me. Yeah.
F# B Em A
Cos i'd much sooner owe you for all you've done
F# B Em A
Than ever bow down for you.
F# B Em A
Find the will to hit, and that's when you'll get your stick
F# B Em A
You keep your clinging fingers off me. Yeah.
(1.31)
Chorus:
F# B Em A
Everybody gets to breed, every Adam every Eve,
B
But the way that we lost out now.
F# B Em A
Is to do it differently. I want her and you want free,
B
That's the way that we lost out you...
(1.51)

After the next verse, it goes into the chorus again, and then this bit:
F# B Em A
Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do

The chords sound better if they are played as 5ths (i.e. power chords).
The chord listings are:
F#5 (2 4 4 x x x)
B5 (7 9 9 x x x)
Em (0 2 2 x x x)
Asus2 (x 0 2 2 0 x)
Have fun.
