Hello. I'm probably one of the biggest (and first) Embrace fan in Norway. I went to the gig at Vaskeriet club during the Quart-festival and it was absolutely one of the best nights of my life. Unfortunately, most of the crowd were not too familiar with the songs but it was brilliant anyway. It's pretty nice being able to say: I was at an Embrace gig in very small and intimate pub a long time before they became BIG (in Norway that is). Hopefully, the boys are coming back soon.

I am an "alternative/indie" from London DJing here in Sydney. If anyone is coming over to Australia then come down to our club called Popscene'98 on Friday nights. I think Embrace are one of a lineage of a very select few fine bands who put out singles with no lame tracks then blow everyone away with a killer debut. I am thinking here of The Stone Roses, Suede, Oasis. I heard AYGGP last March and it totally blew me way - the best new song I'd heard in ages. I immediately rang my brother in England and told hin to buy everything he could get hold of by the band. I went home at Christmas and listened to those fine EPs gloriously packaged on vinyl for 7 weeks and still didn't get fed up with them - true classics. Saw the band at the Astoria too and they were superb. Popscene'98 has been lucky enough to secure the launch of the album here in Australia. We play tracks all the time but people over here don't seem to have much taste. We'll keep plugging away though. The bands I mentioned above are a selection of some of the best bands in Australia. If you get the chance have a listen - it is unlikely they will make it big overseas but their music is fantastic. Cheers for reading this hope to see you at our club! Come and say hello.

Good page. The best thing is that you have a section for chords. I play the guitar and don't like paying the ridiculous prices that record companies charge for songbooks (that are mostly incorrect), so I often look on web pages for chords and tabs. I haven't really liked much of the stuff Embrace have been putting out (don't be offended), but I heard 'Come back to what you know' on the radio today and thought it was excellent. The first track I heard from Embrace was All You Good Good People, and I feel in love with it. It is Fucking brilliant, it really is. Then I bought a Dutch mag, Oor, and there was a free CD included, with there song Dry Kids. Need I say more? It amazed me it really did. They are so good! They really are! I love 'em, and that's not exaggerated, I really do. So cheers, and bye.

Just thought I'd drop a note saying it is nice to see a fan take initiative to promote bands. Love the scene over there. There is some appreciation for Brit bands here in Canada but really not enough, certainly more here than in the U.S. though. I have never heard an Embrace tune, just read about them in SELECT. A friend of mine is over in Scotland now and is bringing me back a few singles, I'm excited to hear them. Keep up the good work, I'll be watching your page for Album and Tour info (N.American tours that is so please keep me informed via your page). Thanks Philip

I missed Embrace on Jools Holland and TOTP in the weekend (I wouldn't have if I'd known about it!) Nor do I know many of their songs except the recent EP, which is incredibly good. but I saw them 3 times in the past, god they blew me away every time... Embrace are the biggest bag of shite I have ever had the misfortune to hear. I felt embarassed by them when I saw them on Jools Holland. It wasn't just the vocals, all the instruments were out of sync'. I say destroy your site and find a decent band to wr te about !!
