Surrounded by silence, enclosed in fear
I can't help but notice the emptiness here
I feel it all, pain, shame, disgrace
One by one tears fall not from my face
Crimson tears form a pool at my feet
Darker than wine, if only as sweet
Where does it lead this road I now take
If I sleep should I bother to wake
What would be worse, to live or to die
What's the point if I'm living a lie
Will I find eternal peace in death
What is it like to draw your last breath
Laughing one moment and crying the next
Buried feelings that no one detects
Tomorrow will be just another day
Little by little I slowly fade away...
