Montreal 2005 Nov. 17-20

---FRIDAY---

The Montreal Convention Centre, where the Rona 2006 Spring Show was held, showcasing a variety of new products available for sale in Rona stores in the near future. We spent some time looking at (of course) the lighting section.

Room 1742 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth where John Lennon and Yoko Ono held their "Bed in for Peace" in 1969, where they recorded the song "Give Peace a Chance".

Another view, up close, of room 1742.

Justin thought it was hilarious that I took a few pictures of our bathroom, but it was pretty! Here's a view of the sink and shower. Notice the marble? That's why I took a few pictures of the bathroom - I couldn't resist!

A closer-up look at the shower.

A look at the toilet and the shelves above. I guess I have a thing for bathrooms!

The Bell Centre, where the Montreal Canadians play.

Our first lovely dinner was at the Windsor Station, next to the Bell Centre. This dinner was absolutely fantastic - wonderful food (although I ate duck - I hate myself!) with free wine.

The dinner had over 800 people in attendance, including approximately 270 AGP winners from all across Canada. The grand prize for the AGP winners was a trip for two to Italy for the Olympics (1 in 270 chance and I didn't win even though the odds are better than the lottery!)

During the dinner, at regularly spaced intervals, the entertainment included the talented Cirque Eloize. In this picture (although it's hard to see) a woman from Cirque Eloize is dangling from and performing acts with a sheet attached to the ceiling, without the support of any harnesses.

Justin and I dressed up during the AGP Gala dinner.

Myself and my store manager from the London store, Nick.
