Well...my dream finally came true. I finally got to meet Boyzone at the Hard Rock Cafe in Phoenix, AZ July 31st!!! It was amazing! I arrived at the Hard Rock Cafe at 10:00am, expecting to find a line around the building, of Boyzone fans waiting to see them...but there was just me, my mum, my friend Nikki and my two brothers. WOW! Was I surprised! In England, you'd have to be there like five hours before in order to get good seats! Anywayz...we went into the Hard Rock Cafe, but it didn't open till 11:00am, so for about an hour, we stood in the shop area. When 11:00 came we went through, but had to wait another hour 'till Boyzone were "supposedly" coming to perform.

Well, 12:00 came and went. At 12:15 me and my friend Nikki, went outside. I did an interview for a Spanish radio station and won a Boyzone t-shirt and Boyzone's newly released album here in the USA " A Different Beat" (and for all you that have the English version....it's different!). Well, finally at 12:30, me and Nikki were sitting in our "front row seats"...well the closest chairs to where the Boyz were performing anywayz. We saw Shane, Keith, and Mikey in the back kitchen. We got all excited!! Then 15 minutes later they came out!

There were not many Boyzone fans there. When I say not many I mean there was around 20. Most of them Hispanic, because Boyzone released "Experiencia Religiosa" and "Mystical Experience" over here. OK, now to the good part...Boyzone finally came and sat down. From left to right, it was Keith, Mikey, Ronan, Stephen, Shane. They performed four songs "Picture of You," "A Different Beat," "Isn't It a Wonder," and "Mystical Experience" (Spanglish version). They sang great and even mum kept saying, "ooooh they have great voices" and "oooh they are soo cute!"

Well after the first song, they presented the Hard Rock Cafe with one of those plaque thingys! I wish I could have had it for my room! Hahahaha. After they had finished performing they went into the back kitchen, out the back door and did a little TV interview for a Spanish TV channel. I went out and watched, but as soon as they had done this, I went back into the Hard Rock Cafe. Just as I got to my seat, they came out and did signing. Only certain people could go past the guards...so like true Boyzone fans we climbed over the banister. Of course we asked Keith first and he said "go ahead!!!" I got all of the Boyz autographs twice...once on my t-shirt and once on my program from the 1996 tour in England!

I found that the Boyz were REALLY nice to talk to. They were all very polite... and gorgeous! The funny part about going to the HRC was when my friend asked Shane "Do you really wear G-strings?" Shane had to think about it for a bit...THEN he showed us his underwear (White Calvin Klein G-strings...I'll remember that day 'till the day I DIE!!!) and he said, "does this answer your question?" Ha Ha Ha! We are still laughing about it now! I always used to underestimate Mikey and Keith because I didn't use to like them as much as the others, but now I can proudly say, I love them just as much as the others. To tell you the truth, I prefered talking to them than anything else. They just seened so ...human. I know you probably think I'm crazy for saying that, but I always thought pop stars were big headed and stuff...but Boyzone proved that wrong! I found Steve to be sooo sweet, he is ready to talk to anyone.

Ok, after the signing they went through the back and left. That was the bad part, that they had to leave. They all looked gorgeous...and I hope that the Boyz come back soon to Phoenix. I now have accomplished my lifelong dream of meeting and talking to Boyzone. I hope all of you fans out there that haven't met the Boyz yet, get to soon. Cuz they are great! Also, thanks to the Hard Rock Cafe...if it hadn't been for them, my dream would not have become a reality. WE LUV YA BOYZONE! Thanks for coming to the Hard Rock Cafe and come again SOON!!! Keep luvin' da Boyz.
