For your information, The Millennium Group knows all about Marilyn Manson, and we've also been monitoring your email. But don't worry, this case doesn't interest us...Yet. We have a very limited focus, and so far, there have been no serial killings or suicides associated with this little cult. But make no mistake--we are keeping an eye on this and *will* be at the Feb. 14 gathering. I was recently sent down to California to monitor the situation for a few weeks, and after attending some shows, my assessment of Mr. Manson is best summed up by this little patched-together conglomeration of what the press and Bay Area critics had to say about him: "Bringing on the Apocalypse is good work if you can get it, but a lanky wet rat in a G-string, pumping white noise through a wa-wa pedal and screeching I-AM-THE-ANTICHRIST-THIS-IS-ARMAGEDDON is not much of a threat to a 2000 year old religion."

Scully, in your level-headed scientific opinion, isn't all this being taken just a wee bit too seriously? And Mulder...good god, Scully, adjust the poor guy's meds or something. Or his implant [guffaw]! I mean, really...he's off in another country sifting through dusty old medieval manuscripts of black magick, and ranting about electronic beam weapons??! On second thought, scratch that thought. If Mulder was put back on medication, we'd have nothing to laugh at. And Manson, well, his choice of drugs seems to be working out well for him. Oh, and we've sent Mulder on a little wild goose chase, so you may not hear from him for awhile...he'll probably be reporting soon on a "time-traveller" he just met, and will probably come up with some crazy theory about how it relates to this case--that is, if he actually went where we sent him.

And by the way, The Millennium Group is just a small offshoot of a much larger organization which I can't name, one that has been working behind-the-scenes and directing the course of civilization since the beginning of time...you know--THEM.
