Chapter 1

"Backstreet Boys! Backstreet Boys!" yelled the fans in the audience.
The boys had been on tour for over a month. They were now in Chicago.
AJ, Brian, Howie, Kevin, and Nick stood in their huddle backstage before the concert.
"Okay guys we can do this," Brian said.
"Let's go out there and give it our all!" AJ said as he waved his arms around.
"Let's show those girls what we got!" Nick said.
"Umm...Nick...we can't show them what we got or we'll be arrested for public indecency," AJ said with a grin.
Kevin smacked him on the back of the head.
"Ow!" he shouted.
Kevin chuckled. "Let's go out there and give them the show of their lives!"
All the guys cheered and ran toward the door to the stage. AJ stopped and gave Amanda a quick kiss on the lips.
"See you after the show baby," he said.
"Break a leg," Amanda said with a smile.
The music boomed and the fans cheered. The Backstreet Boys slowly walked around the stage, pausing at each side. The fans went wild. AJ walked to the edge of the stage. He scanned the audience and smiled as he began to sing along with the rest of the guys.
"How ya'll doing out there tonight?" AJ asked the crowd. The fans screamed in response. "You know all you girls are looking so fine! My what a group of beautiful ladies we have here in Chicago. I think I should move here. It's kinda cold though," he said as he pretended to shiver.

"What do you say we warm things up in here?" The arena roared with screams. "I can't here you! I said how would you like to warm things up in here?" The fans screamed even louder.
Brian walked over to AJ and smiled. "Whoa whoa whoa! Hold up! Now that was a stupid question. You know we wanna warm things up in here."
"All right then! Let's go!"
The music started and the boys began to sing. During the middle of "Don't Want You Back" AJ hung upside down on his pole and faced the audience.
"Hello Chicago!" he shouted. He could see Amanda laughing at him in the front row. He flashed her a quick smile and blew her a kiss before proceeding. Once the concert was over, the boys said good night and got off the stage.
"Whew!" said AJ. "That was awesome! I love that rush man!" he said as he bounced up and down. "Who's up for a night out on the town?"
"Not me," Nick said as he took off his shirt. "I'm wore out. This cold is really getting to me. I just wanna go back to the hotel and sleep."
"Me too," said Brian.
"What about you Howie?" AJ asked.
Howie shook his head. "I'm tired Bone. I need sleep."
"Kev?"
Kevin gave AJ an apologetic look. "Sorry man Sarah and I want to spend some time alone."
"Aw man! I'm too hyper to stay in tonight," AJ whined.
Just then, the girls walked into the dressing room along with Denise.
"Great show boys!" she said.
"Thanks we try," Brian joked.
Denise laughed and sat down on the couch. "Well, it looks like you guys will get to sleep in a little bit tomorrow. We don't have to be in Minnesota until mid afternoon. I advise you all get some sleep." She looked over at Nick. "Especially you. We don't want to have to do a show without you. Take care of yourself."
"I will," Nick promised.
"The limo is waiting outside so get changed and go on back to the hotel. I'll see you guys in the morning," she said as she left the room.
The boys changed their clothes and got into the limo to go back to the hotel. Everyone said good night and went to their own rooms. AJ went to his room to find Amanda standing in the bathroom staring herself in the mirror.
"What are you doing?" he asked from the doorway.
"I'm starting to show," Amanda said with a sigh. "I'm almost 4 months along. I'm gonna get bigger," she said as she rubbed her hands in a circular on her stomach.
AJ walked into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his hands on her stomach. "You look beautiful don't worry about it," he said then kissed her on the top of her head. "I need to take a shower. Are you done in here?"
"Yeah, I'm gonna get changed and get in bed. I'm tired."
"Okay, good night baby," AJ murmured as he leaned in for a kiss.
Amanda kissed him passionately. "Night," she said then left the bathroom.
When AJ finished his shower, Amanda was already in bed sound asleep. Quietly he crept into bed and wrapped his arms around her. Amanda opened her eyes and rolled over.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you."
"You didn't wake me. I wasn't asleep yet," she said as she pulled the covers over herself.
AJ smiled and placed his hand on her stomach. "I can't wait to see my child," he whispered.
"Me neither," Amanda replied.
AJ was rubbing his hand on her stomach when he felt a small thump. "I felt it!" AJ said with excitement. "That's my baby! Wow, that's so amazing." AJ kissed Amanda lightly on the lips and cuddled closely to her.
"I love you," he whispered.
Amanda smiled. "I love you too," she replied then drifted off to sleep.
