Annie felt his tight grasp around her waist and his hand over her mouth. 'Oh my God! What do I do? Oh God, why can't Lina come running down those stairs right now!' she frantically thought trying to think of ways to overcome her attacker, 'Oh my God!! My karate! I could use it!' she thought, then stomped on his foot, as he let go she rammed her knee where the sun don't shine! (Oooo sounds painful!) "OH MY GOD LINA!!!!" she yelled then flicked on the lights and saw her attacker sprawled on the floor.
Lina ran down the stairs at full speed with her baseball bat in her hands, "I'M COMING ANN!!" she yelled then stopped when she saw the guy on the floor already, "WHAT DID YOU DO, KILL HIM?"
"NO!! I kicked him, CALL THE POLICE or something, don't just stand there!"
Annie yelled and Lina ran to the phone. Annie tried to run with her, but something grabbed her ankle and she fell on the floor with a thud and came face to face with her attacker.
She studied his face hard under the baseball cap, "COLBY?!" she gasped.
"WHO THE HELL DID YOU THINK IT WAS?"
"OH MY GOD!!! Why the hell are you in my house?" Annie yelled and Lina came back in the room.
"Annie the police said--COLBY?!" she said shocked.
He started to get up from the floor along with Annie, "Why did you kick me so damn hard?" he asked through clenched teeth because the pain was unbearable.
"Well, don't sneak in people's houses at THREE A.M. IN THE MORNING!! I thought you were trying to freakin kill me!!! You scared the shit out of me!"
"I was trying to surprise you!"
"Surprise me?! I hardly think grabbing someone and covering there mouth is a great way to surprise someone!!"
"Well, then don't give people a key to your house!!!"
"I DIDN'T GIVE YOU A KEY!!"
"WELL, THEN DON'T LEAVE THEM SITTING AROUND WHERE PEOPLE CAN JUST TAKE THEM!"
"You TOOK MY key?!"
"Well how was I supposed to surprise you if I couldn't get in?!"
"Um, maybe like normal people!!! ASKING!!"
"You know if you weren't a girl I would slap you right now!"
"You know if you weren't such a smartass you would be able to stand up straight right now!" she mocked him.
"Oh thank-you so much for making it where I can't have kids.....EVER!!!"
"I did you a favor, atleast now you can't populate the planet with idiots like you!!"

"JUST WHAT?"
"Just..UGH!!!!" Colby yelled frustrated and tried to get to the bathroom without causing himself anymore pain.
Annie smiled at her defeat, 'I always win!' she thought then sat on the couch waiting for Colby.
Lina shook her head and sat next to Annie.
A few minutes later Colby wobbled (hehe poor guy!) out of the bathroom and sat on the couch adjacent from Annie and Lina. There was long period of silence.
"I'm sorry!" Colby and Annie both said at the same time, then laughed.
"No, I'm really sorry, I did think you were trying to hurt me, I acted on instinct you knew I was taking karate," Annie said.
"Yeah I guess it was my own fault, I should've told you I was coming, I mean for all you knew I was coming next week," Colby said.
"Aw, come here big bro I forgive you!" she said and opened her arms, but he didn't move, "OH...Oh my God, I'm SO sorry for that! I'll come over there and give you a hug. She said then went over and jumped on his lap, "OOPS!! Sorry, forgot!"
He groaned, "I think you're doing this on purpose now!"
"Who? Me?" she asked innocently.
He laughed, "Yeah, but I love you anyway sissy!" he said and hugged her back.
"Why do you keep called me sissy?"
"Because I know it annoys you!"
"Sometimes I wonder how you and me came form the same parents!"
"I do too, I mean how could I look so good, yet have an ugly sister!," he shook his head, "I just don't get it!"
"Shut-up or I'll practice my karate on you!"
"OK, ok...man this sucks having a sister who can beat your ass!"
"And don't you forget it!"

"Come on!!! Pwease Colby!" Annie begged.
"I don't want to go shopping!" Colby said.
"Aw, I know you and I know you didn't finish you're Christmas shopping just go with me...I don't want to go by myself!"
"Why can't you take Lina?"
"She's going to lunch with her mom! Please please please please please!!"
"Geez, alright, I'll go, but only because I need to get Christmas gifts too," he said grabbing the car keys.
"Hey!"
"I get to drive since you're dragging me!"
"Nuh uh!! That's not fair it's MY car!"
"Sorry, life's not fair!"
"No having a brother isn't fair!" Annie sulked and got in the car, with her brother driving and headed to the mall.

"Hey B, why did you want to come to the mall again?" Nick asked.
"I really screwed up with Annie last night and I want to get her a present or something to say sorry," Brian said scanning the stores.
"What did you do?"
"I don't know!"
Nick whistled, "Oh man, that's the worst kind of fight! The ones where the girl knows and the guys don't!"
"Would you shut-up! Remind me again why I brought you with me?"
"So you could have someone to help you not pick out something,"
They walked into Barnes and Nobles book store hoping to find a nice book for Annie.
"Bri I'm telling you, jewelry is the way to go!"
"I guess you're right I mean she would probably get more mad if I gave her a book," Brian said and was about to walk out the store when he spotted someone he knew and pulled Nick behind a magazine rack.
"Yo, what are you doing?" Nick yelled.
Brian shushed him, "Look!" he said pointed through the crack in the magazines.
Nick looked, "What? All I see is two people talking."
"Look closer, that's Annie and some guy!"
"Wow, what-ever you did must've been bad! She already has a new guy."
"Shut-up and listen!" Brian said trying to hear their conversation

"I have to get this new book! It's by the guys from Love Line!" Annie said
and walked in the book store.
"Book stores are so boring!" Colby complained.
"Is that all you do?" "What?"
"Complain."
"Sorry, but yep!" he smiled then hugged her, "But you still love me!!"
She hugged back and rolled her eyes his arm still around her she was looking around the store when she spotted Brian through the magazine rack peeping!
"Oh my God!" she whispered.
"What?" Colby looked at her.
"Nothing I'll be right back, OK?"
"OK, do you want me to stay here?"
"Yeah, just stay there!" she said walking away.

"I can't believe it! She's all over that guy!" Brian exclaimed and looked at Nick.

"No!" he looked back and she was gone, "Damn it! She's gone!" he said trying to see where she went when he heard a voice behind him.

"Brian turned around and grabbed a magazine, "Um, just readin a magazine...
What normal do when they come in a book store,"
"Oh really? I didn't know you were into that kind of stuff!" she said with disgust in her voice.
"What are you..?" Brian looked down and saw "PLAY BOY" written across the top of the magazine and quickly put it back.
Annie laughed, "That will teach NOT to spy on people dirty boy!" she said and walked back over to Colby.
