"Do you really think it was a good idea getting those tickets? I mean we like the band and stuff but we don't know much about them except for their songs.We don't know their names or even what they look like."I asked Jamie thinking of the four Backstreet Boys concert tickets we had safely tucked away at home.The four of us were going to a concert the next night ans we were really excited.
When we got to work, we were immediately met up with a special assignment. The four of us were going to be working together with a very important group who were spending the day either shopping or sightseeing. The group was made up of 9 people and would be split into two groups.
We headed for the office where we would have to through a special grief before meeting our charges for the day.Mr. Hall, the manager looked nervous when we came in."Ladies, today you will be working in twos. Nicole and Mindi will be driving, "he handed each of us a key."Mindi, you amd Jamie will be doing the sightseeing bit and Nicole and Jacinth will be dealing with shopping.They are waiting in the conference room. Let's get a move on."
"These people have got to have lots of moolah to be hiring tour guides to go shopping.Oh well, we get bonus pay for this." Jamie whispered to me as we went to meet them.
They actually looked pretty normal and weren't stuffy or anything like we expected them to be. They included a boy who was about 10 or 11, a guy who had to be his brother,and a guy that had a mass of hair that remotely reminded me of Howard Stern's.
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, these are your guides for the day.The shoppers will be with Jacinth Stevenson with Nicole Callender driving and sightseeing will have Jamie Waters and Mindi Crawford." Mr Hall introduced us in his most snooty voice and Jamie made a face at his back."Ladies meet your charges.Mindi, you'll be driving Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Pollyanna Dorough and Dennis Gallo.Nicole you'll be driving Nickolas Carter, Howard Dorough, Alexander McLean, Aaron Carter and Mindi Abair.
"Yes sir." we all said in unison and we tried not to laugh when the little kid put his hands on his hips and threw out his chest and did a pretty good imitation of Mr. Hall.
When we were dimissed, me and Mindi went around the back to get the vans while the others took went out to the front reception to wait. When we came around everyone piled in and while the other van left almost immediately, I pulled into a space and looked back."They are going sightseeing so Mindi is aclling the shots. We, however are going shopping so where do you want to go?" I asked them.
AJ answered,"I don't care as long as we can find clothes and we go to McDonalds for lunch."
"Yeah!" yelled every one so after giving it a few second thought, I knew the perfect place to keep us everyone happy all morning.
"Let's go!" I called over my shoulder as we pulled out of the parking lot.
