At the end of 1995, Gary Taylor (president of the Freddie Mercury Friendship Group) had a list of questions for Peter Freestone to answer. Peter wrote his answers on a paper where the questions were already printed on. The result was printed in the fanzine of the F.M.F.G. (address at the end of this page). Here is that questionaire!

How did you get your nickname "FEEBIE"?
Freddie gave a nick-name to everybody who was close to him.

When did you first meet Freddie?
October 1979 at a charity gala

Initially with Queen for a year from Nov 79 then 1 year later solely for Freddie

No, but I still remain friends with everybody

What did your job involve?
Any + everything.

Can you describe Freddie for us; as in his personality and other qualities?
How about *STAR*. He was one of the best most *genuine* people I have met and I miss him terribly. He was always good for a laugh and a joke.

Do you like Freddie and Queen's music?
What are your favourites?
I love most of the early stuff. Of course my favourite has to be the Barcelona Album because of my links to it.

What were Freddie's favourites?
His favourite track was "Somebody to love"

Did you accompany Freddie on his shopping trips and Queen tours?
Yes! and enjoyed them immensely.

What is your favourite Queen and Freddie video?
I think "Great Pretender" is very good, but then there are brilliant bits in so many of them

What were Freddie's favourite videos?
Freddie loved making videos because of his input. He particularly liked "Slightly mad"

What are you fondest memories of Freddie?
I know this is a cop ant but I suppose knowing him + being a friend for 12 years.
