The club where Queen performed in the early days. The Marquee was also the location of the Christmas Parties, held by the International Queen Fanclub. The Cross performed there with guests like Brian May, Tim Staffel and Roger Daltrey
Brian May in an interview on the video "Champions of the World" : To play in the Marquee you have to have made an album, to make an album you have to have played in the Marquee!!! Ehh........????? :-) The club doesn't exist anymore, the building is now owned by other people.
Imperial College of Music, right across the other side of the street is the Royal Albert Hall. Queen used to play at Imperial College in the early days.
