Liam Gallagher: the man..the myth..the legend..the guy with the really big eyebrow.

Oasis' lead singer (and chief tamborinist), Liam Gallagher, was born in Manchester on September 21, 1972. His incredible voice, combined with his rock 'n' roll attitude, have made him one of the most recognizable and controversial figures in the music industry. Today, at the age of 27, he resides in London with his wife, British actress, Patsy Kensit. The couple married in 1997 and they have one child together, Lennon Gallagher, who was born on September 13, 1999. Patsy also has a son, James, from her marriage to Simple Minds' singer Jim Kerr. The Oasis song, Little James, is Liam's tribute to his stepson.

Liam Quotes: "If you want a circus go to the circus. I can't jump about when I'm trying to sing songs. It works for Mick Jagger, but it's not for us."

"[Noel's] songs? They're what gets me out of bed in the morning. He's top. A fantastic songwriter. He's the devil, isn't he, man?"

All about Liam: (Why do I feel like I write for Tiger Beat?)

Favorite Football (Soccer) team: Man City

Nicknames: Our Kid (as called by his brothers) and Weetabix Kid (a childhood name given to Liam for his love of cereal)

Some of his favorite bands and musicians: The Beatles (especially John Lennon), The Sex Pistols, The Stone Roses, The Verve (Richard Ashcroft), Cotton Mather...

Little known fact: Liam's wife, Patsy Kenist, sang for an all girl british pop group. I believe the group was called Eighth Wonder. And I've heard Liam's had a few good laughs at some of the old Eighth Wonder tapes.
