PATSY HOSPITALIZED
Just weeks after being released from a London clinic due to a serious bout of depression, actress Patsy Kensit has been hospitalized again. Patsy, wife of wild Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, was checked into a high profile London hospital on June 15 after waking up with a serious case of nasal congestion.
According to reports, Patsy had been experiencing nasal congestion, or in laymens terms a "stuffy nose" for nearly a week, but tried her hardest to ignore it and eventually attempted to treat it on her own. On June 13 she purchased "Snot Be Gone" a popular brand of nasal spray. Unforunately for Patsy, the spray did little to clear up the problem.
On the night of June 14 Patsy reportedly had a difficult time sleeping. She tried breathing through her mouth, but friends say that only dried her mouth out and complicated the situation. Even when she would successfully clear up one nostril the other would clog up even worse, which would cause her nose to make that annoying whistle sound.
By June 15 Patsy could take no more. The exhausted actress was experiencing breathing problems and complained that her nose felt like it was full of rocks, allowing little to no air through. When she finally revealed the problem to mother-in-law Peggy Gallagher, an ambulance was called and Patsy was rushed to a local hospital. Peggy accompanied her daughter-in-law to the hospital but spent little time talking to reporters, although she did express concern for Patsy's well being and noted that "a stuffy nose is not to be taken lightly." Wise words, indeed.
