VNV Nation
The British group VNV Nation is, by their own admission, "EBM similar to Apoptygma Berzerk and Covenant." Both of those bands are extremely obviously influenced by the likes of Front 242 during the Front by Front days when the hit industrial song "Headhunter" reigned supreme (by the way, I'll be doing a review of the new Headhunter 2000 EP soon as well.) However, VNV Nation is actually much more than simply a band similar to APB and Covenant. Yeah, if you like one of the above, you'll probably like VNV Nation as well. However, VNV Nation is unique in it's sound, and does something that no other EBM group I know of does: it tries to be beautiful.
