HPD suspended but paid

I am appalled by the Houston Police Department's handling of the Pedro Navarra Oregon murder. Since the ones who burst into Oregon's home did not have a warrant, shot him nine times in the back and didn't find any criminal activity, it seems that these men should be suspended without pay. They are getting what amounts to vacation with pay. If you or I shot someone at work, we wouldn't get this treatment.
