OOOOOOHHHHHHHH YYYYEEEESSSS!!!! NY ska scene representing. For all of you who know the scene then you know that this is an amazing album, it goes without saying.This is the second instalment of this series of New York Based comps. The last one was way back in the day when this whole crazy thing we call Moon Ska started.

The Pilfers,Inspecter 7, N.Y.S.J.E., The Toasters, Moon Ska Stompers, Edna's Goldfish, Mephiskapheles, One Groovy Cocunut, New York Ska Mob,(wait, I need to take a breath....) Metro Stylee, Agent 99, and many more, all make very strong apperances. Just listening to this album makes me yern for the Wetlands.

This cd is the second volume of the NY Beat: Hit & Run compilation series, which was the first all ska compilation in the US ever. Besides having a gargantua amount of great ska bands (from NY, where else!), it is also a landmark for the ska world! (Anyone wanna buy me this cd?)
