MAD! respect to The Toasters for keeping it real for so
long, playing
through thick and thin, good times and bad. The Toasters have proven
themselves to be the premier ska band in the U.S. if not the world.
Hopefully they'll be here another 30 years down the road doing the same.
This is an amazing album. The Toasters do it again and amaze me with
their innovative style. Fans of old Toasters albums may be a little taken
back at their first time hearing this album. It isn't consitant with
their older albums. Their sound has progressed over the years and this
time their progression has a more rock/pop influence. Not to fret though.
They are still the same old Toasters (minus Coolie), just not the same
sound. If you want my critique then I would say that its an amazing album that just
diverges from their sound. Yeah sure a couple of songs sound like Reel Big Fish walked
into the studio and held Bucket hostage and made him sing but overall this is a must have
for any Toaster fans.
