Bridgette Says:
hmm...Kid Rock! I don't even know where to start.
I guess I first heard of him my Freshman or Sophomore year in high school....(not
sure which, those days are all an alcoholic blur to me) but I remember
the first song I heard was "3 Sheets To The Wind" off of the Polyfuze Method
albumn. Needless to say INSTANT FAN! Over time I heard more and more
Kid Rock stuff and all of it was fuckin' pimp.
When I turned 18, my friends and I used to go to this
club called The Asylum (now lamely named Clubland) and they played some
Kid Rock, so we always requested "3 Sheets To the Wind" and "Balls in Your
Mouth" (both off of Polyfuze Method) Then I saw him in
concert and he was fuckin' awesome!!!
I have to give snaps to the Kid for going as far as
he has, and will continue to go (hopefully)! Listening to the lyrics
on all of his albumns, I can tell the guy has a heart. He seems so
real to me, so unsuperficial! I respect him for that. So many artists these
days are just out to make money. Kid does it cuz he loves it!

i came to toledo last august. my first day here,
bridgette asked me if i knew kid rock. because she didn't have a
kid rock cd with her, she played i.c.p. for me instead. later that
week we were at a record exchange and she saw the polyfuze method revisted
sitting regally in the local music section. she became excited, and
bought the cd although she insisted she wouldn't buy a cd that day.
in the car she explained how hard it was to find kid rock albumns around
town. she played the cd and "balls in your mouth" became an instant
favorite. after leaving the cd on repeat for a few days i came to
truly enjoy listening to his tunes. whenever we're trying to fight
bad music in the dorm halls of UT, we put polyfuze method or grits sandwiches
for breakfast all the way up. everyone in our dorm knows the music
of kid rock....trust me!
