Hi my name is Autumn and I went to a concert in Atlanta Georgia, July 12. When I got there everyone was at the little stores off to the side buying T-shirts, booklets, buttons, etc..... Just like me.
It was time to get started. We sat down in our, 11th row, seats seeing everything so clear. "Jimmy Ray" performed at least three songs. Soon "S.o.a.p" came on and sang two songs, then soon " Aaron Carter". He was dancing around doing a good job at it too. I think he learned a few steps or two from the "Backstreet Boys". The lights soon dimmered and the show was about to start. You could hear the screams from a mile away, if you weren't at the concert. That was how loud it was. You could hear some music playing and soon they got shoot out of these thing from backstage.
They moved to the front of the stage and got the song "That's The Way I Like It" going. The moved almost to the rhythm of the lights. After that song they did an introducing. One by one they walked up to the front of the stage and said their name adding a little saying. All of a sudden they started a acapella(I dont know what the song was called), soon the song was about to
end, when Nick noticed he didn't sing. He said "Wait a minute guys where's my turn". He came up to the front of the stage and asked the fans, "Do you want a piece of this?" The girls, including me, started to scream"YEAH!!!". He turned around and walked back to the group ad sang a few more. All of a sudden they
stopped and stopped their motion. There was music playing and all they did was dance. I noticed that not one missed a move or skipped a beat. "Hey Mr. D.J" soon came to play and A.j got up to the front with his funky self while the others was dancing in the background doing a wonderful job.
After the song was over they went off the stage and there was a light up at the top of the stairs and soon shined on Howie. He had roses in his hands (red ones). He started to sing a song I don't think no one knew. He soon came down the stairs and threw the roses out to the fans. I didn't get one, but o-well. He walked around stage and soon ended up backstage. Then A.j took his place in the spotlight and started to sing "Lay Down Beside Me". I thought it was pretty good, but my friend thought it could be better with the other guys in there singing too. I noticed that he had nothing to give out to the fans. I guess they all agreed on Howie doing it since he was the first one out. Kevin soon entered as A.J left and he started to sing a new one, I think it was called "Nobody But You". He sung so well. I mean I never new he could sing so well. I think he should sing some parts in some songs. But anyways back to the concert. Brain came out with a guitar and he sat down in a chair and was seated by this guy with a guitar also. He started to sing "That's What She Said"; everyone started to sing since they really knew that song. He got up a couple of times and mostly came over to our side of the stage (which was really where they all came). He looked up and even if I wasn't that close I could see those baby blue eyes clear as a crystal. He sat back down and the lights soon went out. And not last be least so the lights came back on and soon landed on Nick. He was also at the top of the stairs (same as Howie) He had a microphone to him and he started to sing "Heaven In Your Eyes". He never came down the stairs. He was just taking the microphone and moving it around.
The lights soon when a out and the rest of the guys joined Nick. They started to sing "Let's Have A Party". They had on weird (but cool looking outfits on). They were in somehow the same outfit but in a different style. They did their song and soon went of stage again. You could hear a few girls screaming for more. They came back out all sweaty and the sound to "Quit Playing Games" came on. They turned around and the music stopped. They looked at the band and said "No, not like that. Lets try it again" They started the music back once again. They turned around and the band stopped playing. They say "No not like that." The drummer (of the band) got up and said "if you don't like the way we play it then you do it." He threw (not hard) the drumsticks to Nick. We all started to scream. We knew what was going to happen. He turned to the fans and shrugged his shoulders and walked up to the drums and sat down. Then they all went to an instrument.
Kevin was on the keyboards, Brain was on the congas, and Howie and A.J were on guitars. They were talking and told eachother a to do a sound test. Nick went first. He played the drums for a few minutes and soon stopped. Then Kevin did his keyboards and soon stopped, then A.j, then Howie, then it was Brian. He looked at the congas and banged on it once. They all started to laugh. So did the fans. They counted to 3 and played the song. Brian sang his part, then Nick, then A.j. The band members soon came back up on stage and got there instruments and the introduced them to us. After the introducing they went
back down to the front of the stage and danced for a few more seconds and then the song was over.
They went off stage and they all came back on with the same
outfits. They were all wearing blue. Blue jacket and blue pants. Also, a blue cowboy hat. They walked around on stage and sang "All I Have To Give". Soon "Darlin'" came on. During the middle of the song Brain split the auddience in half and told one side to sing Nick and Howies part which was "Darlin'", and the other side to sing A.j and Kevins part which was "Tell me what to do to
get things right". He put it together and they joined in and finished the song. " I go anywhere for you" sang the Backstreet Boys. Yep, by this time they were already on to their next song,
"Anywhere For You". They never looked so good. I mean like they don't do all the time, but with them on stage, all in the blue pants and a white T-shirt, sweating. I mean come on. They were dancing around going to my side of the stage singing with the fans, also waving to them I think Brian and A.J waved to me. Soon, it was over and they were gone on to their next song "I'll Never Break Your Heart". A.j Was dancing like he was doing ballet on the stage. He is so crazy. They got their stools and sat down for a rest and sang their song. I have never seen some one breath so strong and able to stay in tune with the song and not mess up. They got up, pulled the stools off the stage and came back and turned around. "Although loneliness is always been a friend of mine……." Nick started to sing. Then Brian joined in and sang together. It was pure harmony. Then Brian got to his part, and soon Kevin joined. Seeing two cousins sing together, after Brian's heart surgery, almost made you want to cry. They soon did their chair routine and pulled the chairs off the stage. It all went dark and a few people started to leave.
All of a sudden a screen in the background on the stage started to come down. The were showing "Everybody" on the screens. I noticed that they didn't show where they were singing in the video. Only the beginning, the dancing, and the end. Then all of a sudden out of no where grim weppers came out of this gate holding 5 coffins. When it was almost time for them to sing they turned the coffins around showing the Backstreet Boys. They jumped out of the coffins and they were in these costoms, like the ones at the end of the video where they were dancing. I thought I die. But I couldn't I had to see this. They looked so cute. Then they walked up the stairs and said their good-byes and walked off stage. THAT WAS THE BEST CONCERT I EVER WENT TO!!!! Autumn
