First off I must say this...Compaq Center Security=Shitheaded Dumbasses....they took my camera away from me so I wasn't able to take any pictures! So if anyone to the Houston show on 2/29 and got their camera past the security and got some pictures could you PLEASE e-mail me? I'd like to talk to you about how you got past and if maybe I could use a few of your pictures (if you've got a scanner) on my webpage. I'll give you full credit for the pictures by putting "taken: by whoever on 2.29.00" and I'll make it so nobody can take your pics off my page...yes I can do that. So if you don't mind...PLEASE!! lol

Anyway after they took my camera away...and let me tell you my mom was mad about that, but I didn't really care at that point...i just was glad to be there. We went and found our seats, which you all probably already know was last row..literally. We were on the wall way at the top, but the view was awesome! You could see everything going on down there.

Well we got to our seats in the middle of the Jungle Brothers performance, at least I think that's what their name was I don't rememeber. LOL They were pretty good and funny. Then Willa aka Mandah came on...and I have to say she's really good. I liked her whole performance and her voice was good.

Then everyone in the Compaq Center started chanting "Backstreet Boys" over and over again and we all started the wave going around the place. And good lord the screaming. I swear those girls would scream at the littlest thing going on down there. Some one would drop something, they'd scream. My mom had to have earplugs cause it was so loud. lol.

Okay I guess I'll tell you guys this..my neice Kel has started this whole thing with me. Well she got a picture of Kev and put this monkey face over it, well so now she called him Monkey boy and when ever someone mentions monkeys or a monkey is on TV it's Kev. Well the minute we sat down she leans over and tells the girls sitting next to us about it! I so wanted to kill her, but I told them about how I took a pic of AJ and gave him this big pink and purple polka dotted afro...hehe. The girls next to us were as hyper as we were...they were barking like dogs..seriously..of course i was doing my famous monkey call...Kel made me...lol.

Then the moment finally arrive...can we say they take their sweet time getting out there? lol When we saw them coming out of the black box I'd never had a rush like that before. It was just too awesome, and the screaming reached an all time high. I'm still hoarse from screaming and singing at the top of my lungs.

I'm not going to go into great detail since alot of you have already been to the show and know the basic routine of it all. So i'll just tell you my favorite parts and the funny ones too.

What was really awesome was about in the middle of the show Lionel Richie came out and sang with them. That was so cool, and I think I was the only one old enough on my row to know who he was. lol..i was definatly consiered old that night.

I don't rememeber what song it was, but during one of the dancing Howie fell. I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but the look on his face was compelte shock.

Oh and poor Nick, during "All I have To Give" and the hat routine you know the part where they put the hat on their foot and are supposed to flip it back up into their hands? Wellll it didn't work out that way for him...when he kicked his foot up the hat went sailing across the stage and it almost fell off it, but he grabbed it in time and had to run back to get into step with the other guys

Oh, for the ladder part, you asked me who was on my side Gretch? It was Kevin...hehe...he was hanging upside down on it facing the audience...ahh what a sight. lol But Nick was on our side when they went flying out over the audience. He didn't go as far as he could have, but that's all right.

Oh! And they sand INBYH in Spanish. I thought that was cool, and it was hard keeping up with the song cause I was trying to sing it in English and it's just too hard when they are singing it in Spanish at the same time. Thankfully after they sang it in Spanish they sang it in English so I could sing along with it...lol.

Brian didn't talk much at all. In fact Nick did the most talking I've ever seen him do. Kevin talked alot, but Nick must've been bitten by the talk bug or something.

Oh, speaking of Bri. He almost got hit in the head by a flying stuffed animal. I mean it went sailing over his head missing him by inches. He had this dumbfounded look on his face like "what the heck was that?" lol Gretch you would've loved that look...hehe.

Howies little rapping part at the end...that was soo cute. Him and his pant leg pulled up and that hood over his face trying to cover it up. Too cute. Me and Kel were laughing at that.

Okay I haven't talked about AJ yet...and no he didn't rip his shirt off which greatly disappointed Kel..lol. He did have this sparkly boa thing on which looked really weird, he threw it in the audience too. Oh and he definatly wasn't without hats either. He had this huge tiger striped one on I couldn't get over.

Speaking of hats Nick had this read cowboy hat on and he had it on sideways and AJ goes "Oh look it's Pecos Bill." lol..he looked more like Yosemite Sam...hehe.

AJ and Nick were also saying how they loved Houston so much they were going to move here..lol..that would be nice, but of course they were just joking. :)

Oh and at the end you know when you think it's over after SMTM, well me and Kel were screaming at all the people who were getting up "it's not over yet" and they just kept on going until the music started for "It's Gotta Be YOu" and they ran back up the steps back to their seats. Well when that was over they thought the show was over again...big mistake...the music for IWITW started and they had to come back. I was laughing at them all..i mean we tried to tell them, but do they listen? nooooo

I was sad when it was over, but god did I have to time of my life....despite the whole camera thing..i feel like sueing Compaq for that...but I got a T-shirt, the comic(which is soo cute) and a pic of Kev..hehe..can't leave without that.

Then as we were leaving..guess what? My dad just happend to park right by the buses. God it was such a rush to actually be walking by them. The first bus had the front windows wide open and I could see in. It was a little messy..soda cans and bags in the kitchen..lol..i got pictures of it too..hehe. Some girl wanted a picture with a Compaq Center secutiry guard..that's how desperate some of those girls were to get pictures with ppl...lol. I wasn't that deperate..i'm suprised they didn't ask the guy who was washing the first buses windows..lol. He kinda looked at me like I was crazy when I was taking the pictures, but who cares I got pictures! My dad got to see the big trucks that carry the stage equipment while we were inside at the concert(he didn't go cause I didn't get enough tickets) and he said they were huge. Has anybody else seen them cause I didn't get to. :(

WEll I think I got all the parts i loved the most and all the neat-o riffic things that happened for me. All in all my 1st BSB expericene went wonderfully! I can't wait for them to come again cause I'm definatly going back. Lynndy
