Let me just start by saying one thing: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Okay, it all started when we left my house at 8 am. It took four hours and 46 minutes to get to Penn State. When we got there, we went straight to the Nittany Inn, where we had lunch reservations. Now, I had heard that they were either staying there or the Atherton, but most likely, the Atherton. However, the Atherton doesn't serve lunch on Saturdays or something or other...so we go to the nittany Inn and I see these 5 buses lined up behind the place and of course, the FREAK OUT begins! I ran over to the buses and just well, okay, I went a lil picture happy. I took pictures of the license plates and everything. LOL. There were only about 10 other girls and we were all standing there trying to figure out where they were. That's when I saw my girls Lizzy and Jackie that I was meeting for lunch! Wahoo! So we decided to sorta roam together and I brought out my evil flirting skills trying to get info from the bus drivers, but they swore up and down it was the crew buses and that bsb weren't even staying there. Granted, they weren't black buses, I figured it probably was crew, but I was getting a tad bit relentless and I know those people sometimes lie. Anyway, we stood at the buses for about an hour and nothing happened besides talking to people that were on the crew, so it got really pathetic. Every time the one guy got off a bus, he locked the door behind him and went to go start the engine on the next bus. Well, one of my friends was like, "See how they always lock the door after they get off?" I was like, "Oh pisssh!" And I went up to the door, thinking it was locked, and I pulled on the handle and it came swinging open at me. Oh man! I was like, "OMG!" and I quickly slammed it and ran back to my friends. Now that was embarassing. Then there was this like forty year old woman that kept trying to flirt with the crew to get backstage passes for her daughter and it was really nasty, ewww! So anyway, our parents made us go inside at 12:30 for our reservations and I met up with the rest of my friends there! (Krissy, Emily {My Band chat girls!}, Minnie and her friends Kenice and Jackie) We all ate lunch together and it was funny cause we had 17 people, so we got our very own dining room..HAHA! We never went to the Atherton because we knew that they would've already checked out by the time we got there and would've been long gone. We later found out that was where they were staying and a lot of fans met them there. = (

After we ate lunch, we all went back to where we were staying at the Ramada Inn and checked in and all. We all got ourselves ready and left for the concert at 4:45. When we got there, well, let's just say, I was stupid. I wore open toe shoes without anything underneath and my mom thought I was gonna get frostbite. I darn well came near it! LoL, but we were finally let in at 6. While we were outside, we did a little traveling and came across the backstage entrance, cause they were these three big white doors, with no way to see or get in unless they were opened from the inside! We like ran up against the door and heard the last few notes of Show Me the Meaning! We heard the last bit of the soundcheck!! Ahh, it was SO incredible! LoL. Well, we finally were let inside and everyone sorta split up and went to their diff sections. Minnie, Allie, and I had twelth row and oh my god, we could've gotten into SO much trouble! Allie actually had a second level ticket, but we snuck her down..and then we got caught, but Allie, Minnie, and I insisted that she did, she just lost it. So they took her away, put her through this interrogation, and finally brought her back, believing that there were duplicate tickets made...ooh man, we were so bad!!

Well, Minnie and I continued to wander around on the floor, and talked to a lot of the crew and venue workers, just trying to find some way to get close to the guys. Finally, I spot this REALLY FRIEKIN HOT guy standing by the black box with an all access pass. Minnie and I casually walked up to him and he smiled and was like, "Can I help you ladies?" I started off by going, "Well, actually, I just wanted to say that I love that necklace of yours!" And then Minnie was like, "Yeah! I think it would go JUST perfectly with my outfit!" The guy laughed, turned his pass over, showed us the name, and was like, "Well, I don't think your name is Joe Daddio tho!" (What a name! Daddy-O!) Minnie was like, "ACTUALLY! My middle name is Joe Daddio!" LoL, I added, "I was just thinking about changing my name to Joe Daddio today!" And he let us touch it and all and then I asked, "So Umm, how did you get this?" And then he said, "I'm with the record company." What a mistake. LOL, I was so bad. "You're with Jive?" When he answered yes, I prosecuted him, lmao. "WHY did you sign N sync?" He went into about how they would be making Jive so much money and all, his exact words, "It's all about the money." and I answered. "Yes, but they're N SYNC! You have the BsB, I don't see why you needed them." He was just laughing at me and stuff. Then we talked some more about Jive and we asked him if he knew how we could get backstage passes and of course, the same old answer, "I can't really help you out with that. I just get mine and that's all I know." Well, before we left, I HAD to recommend Andrew ;)! I asked if Andrew was there and he didn't know who Andrew was right away, so I said, "Ya know? Fromm? He wrote Spanish Eyes and I need you tonight?" And he was like, "Oh Oh! Andrew!!!" (Duh moment) Then he continued, "Well, I didn't see him last night, and I don't think he here's tonight, but if I see him, I'll tell him you said hello." I was like, "So when are you gonna give him a record deal? He's so awesome, you do know that, don't you?" He laughed and shrugged his shoulders, saying, "I don't really have anything to do with that. (meaning signing artists) " and Of course, I replied with the most stupid comment, "Well, when you see the big man upstairs, recommend Andrew, pleassee?" And of course he laughed and smiled, but he nodded! (WAHOO!) Then I told him that I was Andrew's fan of the month, and he laughed more. I said, "Yeah Yeah, he doesn't have a record deal YET, but I am his fan of the month." He responded, "Well, then if I see him, I'll tell him that his fan of the month is out here!" So then, we asked Joe if we could get pictures with him, cause ya know, he was just TOO cute! LoL, and he agreed and we got our pictures and went back up to Allie.

I was upstairs talking to Allie before the show started and I saw someone go on stage and start messing with the keyboards. My eyes shot to the stage and I darted down the stairs, my brain screaming "TOMMY, TOMMY, TOMMY!" So, I finally got down to the stage and Emily was already there meeting him! Minnie and I were in shock, and I accidentally screamed, "OMG TOMMY!" He looked at me rather peculiarly and I really didn't mean to do that. I feel like a stupid teeny for doing that, but I'M SORRY TOMMY! So I got to go up to him and we got pictures with him, but I didn't think to ask for his autograph and I probably wouldn't have if I had been thinking. He was in a hurry, so we waved goodbye and thanked him for taking the time to chat and take pictures with us! I went back to my seat and I saw him come around our side of the stage and I screamed, "Tommmmy!!" And he smiled and waved back at me. Oooh THUD! Tommy had HAIR!! I barely recognized him! He looked SO cute tho. Ah, I'm such a freak.

However, my seats, were RIGHT in front of the black box that they come out of. When I saw how close I would be to them, I literally fell backwards onto the seats in front of me. I was freaking out. I looked up at the stage, and it was only about 20 feet from me and I think it hit me then how close I would FINALLY be to them! Anyway, the lights finally went down for the opening act and we were expecting EYC, but they weren't there! It was Raquel! She sings, "In a dream" ya know? She's a dance music artist! I LOVE HER! lol, ah, she was good, but she really only sang three songs, and then there was at least an hour before bsb came on. We were told that EYC was coming on after Raquel by some roadies, but apparently, they have no idea what's going on, LoL. Minnie and I were completely UNPREPARED for bsb to come on! I saw Tommy go up on stage and I immediately turned around where fog and steam was coming out of the black box! WHAT A RUSH! (oh man, I'm so weird) I got my camera ready and along with everyone else in my section, I stood up on my chair! There was Howie, about 2 feet from my head and it just BOGGLED my mind! I took a lot of pictures of them on their surfboards and omg, it was just so amazing, I can't even describe it! BsB flew down to the stage and well you all know the line-up of songs and all, so I'm just gonna tell you the highlights and all the little "cute" things!

During most of the songs, Brian and Nick had this thing about trying to fly! It was so adorable! They'd flap their arms like they were wings and for a minute, I thought Nick actually believed that he was gonna go somewhere! Hehe. = ) When they sang Larger than Life, Nick added in, "COME ON! I WANNA SEE YOU SWAAAAY!" Of course, everyone obeyed, LoL! Nick's hair was just...man, I want him to keep his hair like that ALL the time! It was cut shorter and he had it spikey! He probably used mousse or gel or something, but it was just...ah, I dunno, it was different, but I really liked it! Nick had so much energy and passion at this show, he nearly knocked me off the floor. Every note he sang had extra emphasis and he was like, nearly bent over with passion when he sang in some of the ballads!

We were Brian's FAVORITE Side!!! Every time he would come near us, he would do the little "raise the roof" thing with his hands and just continued to do that until he got to the other side, upon which, he would turn around, look at us and do it again! It was SO cute and I couldn't resist taking five million pictures of him doing that, LoL! Brian also flew RIGHT over us! It was amazing! He smiled at us, waved, and did all these flips! Of course, before going up, he said his little prayed and "whew-ed" when he got back down! He threw stuffed animals and all, but one of them landed two people behind me. Snifff! (I'm such a dork, ignore EVERY time I say, "It was Sooo cute!")

Let's see, moving right along....during the slow songs, everyone sat down except for a few people that included my friends and I, and I'd jump up and down and wave at Nick. I know he saw me, the big dork, but he never waved back! LoL, for pete's sake, I was the only one jumping up and down and waving like a freak in that section! He just sorta smiled and acknowledged, I suppose. LoL. BUT, I got Brian to wave at me!! During "No One Else Comes Close", the middle stage part revolves and when Brian got around to our side, I jumped and down like the maniac I am, once again, the only one in my section, he smiles and waves right back at me! I think I thudded..hm.

The next few parts are gonna be mumbly and jumbly, but it's all one big mess in my brain! When the guys were introducing their dancers, Nick was so adorable! He picked a fight with Kevin going, "Hey Kev? You think your side is good? Well watch this!" He turns to the audience. "Hey guys! You like MY side better than Kev's, right?" Of course the screaming happened and Nick grinned, "THEN LEMME HEAR YOU SCREEEAAAAMMM!!" to be perfectly honest, I think Kevin's side got more screams, but anyway, LOL. When Brian went to introduce his people, his slid down the lil ramp on his stomach! He reminded me of a little kid going down a slide at the park! Chaww! Someone threw a basketball on stage then and Brian had it for a second, but then Aj was dribbling it around the stage in and out between his legs! Nick was up on the raised center the entire time and he kept doing these like "hip-moving" dances and it drove me Crazeeee!! I took so many pictures, LoL. When the band was playing some intermission music, it was like, a samba type thing, and Nick started dancing beneath the stage and you could see his head and arms going around in a mini congo line by himself!! Now that, was adorable!
Sometime towards the end of the concert, before the guys went down below the stage to make a change, AJ Tore his shirt off and threw it to the audience. But, I was on the other side and he ran downstairs before anyone could get a picture! Ahh! AJ also had a good time messing around with Guido! (The BsBBand goose!) He'd pick him up, pet his head, show him to the audience! Then Dennis held him up when AJ introduced him and made Guido do a little dance! AW! Hehe.

All the guys were having fun messing with each other! AJ had this thing where he kept elbowing one of the guys and the majority of the elbowing went to Brian! Brian kept like jerking away with a little, "stop!" motion thing, but he was laughing. Then AJ elbowed Nick a few times, but he gave up, LoL.

Next, during IT'S GOTTA BE YOU, Nick actually screamed more of his parts than sang them, LoL. They usually have their war paint on, but they must've been really rushed cause it looked SO funny! LoL, Krissy told me that Howie looked like he caught the chicken pox on his forehead and Kev's little "L" type thing from his forehead to nose was really messed up from what I could see! LoL.

Finally, the guys came up to sing IWITW! They were ALL wearing Penn State jerseys! They had their names on the back that said , "Carter 00 or Richardson 00" Ah, I want that jersey, oh how I want that jersey! Anyway, they had us sing most of the song, and we got to sing Nick's whole big, "SAAAyyyYYyyYYAaahha eeH Aahhh Ah!" That was fun, LoL. Nick went up to the camera that was taping for the webcast, stood underneath it, sang to it, and put his microphone up to it, going around in circles underneath it! I think I took a whole roll of film in those 30 seconds, LOL! When we were singing the chorus over and over again, and it was nearing closer to the end, Nick and Howie came down to where AJ was and Nick was waving his arms going, "NO NO! NO!" and he would give AJ a playful push so that he wouldn't sing the last words of the song. He put AJ off about two different times, but then Howie came down and let AJ sing it! Nick was like, "Nooooo!!!" and he made one of those faces like, "aww man, did you have to just do that?" and then he shrugged, smiled, patted AJ on the back, and they went to the center of the stage! As they were going down, Nick did this flying, spinning, turning dance move the entire way down. When they reached stage level, he jumped off the raised peace and went back to getting the audience to sing some more, but finally he jumped back on and they went down, doing this really awesome harmonizing thing, "don't wanna hear, don't wanna hear ya, don't wanna hear ya say.." It was like a "shooo dooo oop" type of thing and I loved it everrrrry second of it!

But finally, and alas, the guys disappeared and the lights came on. My third Into the Millennium experience had ended, but they get better every time I see them! I'll probably remember more later, but right now, everything's just a blur! My friend's mother's Friend saw Howie at the bar on Friday night, LMAO, and he was TRASHED! He was like, taking shots and grinding with all the female dancers, haha! Oh Howard, Howard, Howard, what did your mother tell you? Hehe. Well, I tried to remember everything, but at this concert, I was just trying to watch, get good pictures, and not remember every single thing that happened! As more comes to me, I'll write it down. = ) -Lauren
