¬ radio city music hall - nyc - 7.17.98

I went to the concert at Radio City Music Hall on July 17. Oh boy- I have to say- it was the BEST concert I have EVER been too!!!! I was blown away!!!!

Aaron went on first and was SOO adorable!!! Nick was standing on the side of the stage in the shadows watching his little brother perform and he was giving him thumbs up signs. It was so cute!! He sang "Crush on you" and "Shake it" Aaron was flipping all over the place- doing cartwheels and everything!! He's a wild little boy!! And he had 95 south there to help him do his little stunts!! Next came S.O.A.P. They were good too. And then Jimmy Ray I didn't like too much but there was this one really cute part though where a fan gave him a stuffed animal and he said that it was the first present he'd ever recieved from a fan! Awww!!!

Then (Drum roll please) the BSB came out!!!!!! The black curtain dropped and there were the bsb with sparkling fireworks behind them!!!! They started off with "That's the way i like it" and got everyone outta their seats!!! Then they sang some of their american album songs followed by some that they sang before they were famous like "If I ever fall in love" by shai. Nick even got his own little solo in there- it was SOOOO cute!!! Then they danced to some music by other artists like "All about the benjamins" by puff daddy and "Too close" by next. It was amazing!! After they danced for a while they each came out alone and sang a song by themselves. Howie was first and sang "My heart stays with you." AJ was next and sang "Lay down beside me" and did this sexy little move on the floor which made the crowd go wild! Kevin sang "Nobody but you", Brian came out with his guitar and sang "That's what she said" which left many girls practically in tears and Nick made the crowd scream when he sang "Heaven in your eyes." I was going crazy!! He carried out the word "heaven" for like over a minute and i was like "NICK BABY!!!! DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE!!!!" Oh my god- he was amazing!!!! He sounded so.... powerful!!!! I can't really explain that but it was wonderful!! Then later on they did "Quit Playing Games" and the band couldn't seem to play it the way the BSB wanted them to so the BSB took matters into their own hands and took the instruments and played themselves!!!! It was SOOO cute!!!!

After that they did a few more songs and then I thought it was going to end but i was wrong!!!! They kept going!!!!- For like another 1/2 hour!!!! I'd say they were on stage for a total of about 2 hours!!! I remember now hearing howie say that it would be longer in an interview. NEwayz- after a few more songs, while the BSB went backstage to get changed, they played the "Everybody" video on the huge video screens located on either side of the stage. Then the whole stage went up in flames and all these phantom type people came out with coffins- containing the boys!!! It was SOO creative!!!! (It must have felt a little eerie for the boys to have to get measured for their coffins... don't ya think?) The croud suddenly blew up when Brian started the first words to the song: "Everybody.... Rock your body...."

Finally it was over. =( I really wanted it to go on for longer but I was ready to pass out so i figured i should probably get out of there anyway. I took about 75 pictures during the concert- i had to be very sneaky cuz the security guard near where i was sitting was taking cameras away left and right!!!! Now I just can't wait until the next one at Nassau Coliseum.... it's not that far away!!! After seeing the Radio City concert I don't think I'll ever see a better show (well maybe one of the other BSB concerts on this tour.... since they'll be the same show and all... hehe). ~Brooke~
